I like that the authors offer additional tidbits about possible interpretations on aspects of various stories, historical notes, and key points. I love that while the stories are written in a way that sheds a positive light, it doesn’t gloss over some details that may be controversial. While I do not practice/subscribe to the faith, I appreciate the writing immensely and enjoy it enough to read it to my children who are interested in learning about God.

My kids love this. It is so important that we read the Bible to our children. This is paraphrased, but still has actual Scripture quotes in it and good pictures. My boys especially love it. We have started using this for our curriculum at church. He tells us that his Word will not return void in Isaiah 55. This Bible is a great way to teach children the Bible!

This bible is, in my opinion, for adults as well as children! For example it has wonderful pictures of what the sandals would have looked like when Jesus walked thru Jerusalem and there are so many other items that are shown that would have been around during the days of Jesus. The stories are very very easy to read and understand. I love reading this as a bedtime book for my boys or just to read it for myself.

A great source for theology instruction at child/young adult level. Beautiful illustrations and by linking geographical information to the stories, it surely gives one the sense that, "this DID happen.!"

This is a great gift that I gave to a Chinese friend who has embraced Christianity! She confesses that this book is phenomenal!

My daughter loves it, she had softback which falled appart. I hope hardback will holds for longer. I recommend this edition for little ones.

Our church purchased 14 of these bibles for disadvantaged children and also purchased clothing and etc. but the bibles were their favorite item.

Exactly what it was needed

This book is one of the best illustrated children's bible I have seen. The graphics are excellent and the prose is very good for the learning child. Most childen rarely see or read a bible but it has been like a magnet to my grandchildren.Well done to the author(s) and artists.

This Children's Bible astonished me at the very first sight!It contains minimum 4 pictures on every book spread in addition to photos, frescos and maps.I woud call this edition Children's Bible Encyclopedia.This book is completely justified its price!

Not sure how accurate all the content is, but generally the stories that I've read from the Bible and other sources, these stories are fairly accurate enough and enjoyable so long as you take the main teachings and headlines from it.
