New 9' FT Market Patio Garden Umbrella Replacement Canopy Canvas Cover Red

We purchased this 9 foot Market Patio Umbrella from Honey Blue Super Outlet (they were the seller/supplier) and it was delivered on March 4, 2015. This product was advertised as canvas and was also supposed to have enhanced durability for the sun, which makes sense.The canopy received was not canvas but instead was a sort of thin polyester. The red color was nice and we needed to install immediately due to a house showing.Shortly after installing canopy, the RED color faded to a whitish pink and looks absolutely unacceptable. It looks like a flimsy drape of material which has seen many Summers. And when I say shortly, I mean by May of 2015, 2 months later, it is now a white/light pink/salmon color and looks completely beat up. It looks completely "ghetto". Our friends came over and actually said, "oh I thought you got a new umbrella, but obviously not". We live in Southern California and do not see harsh weather, and the sun in the winter and spring is not unreasonably strong. The umbrella failed to last 2 months, I think that is kind of fraudulent. And, I'm a lawyer, so I am not using that term lightly!I contacted customer service to let them know about the problem and they told me to go fly a kite. They refused to help me get a replacement or refund. Lovely. Buyer beware.

I purchased 2 Red Umbrella covers. One was 8 Rib (this one) and one was 6 Rib. I'm sorry to say, this one faded by the end of summer. A guest at my house commented that it was orange. The 6 Rib one did not fade, or atleast it did not fade as much, so it still appears red. Price is still great and I will still use it, I'm just not sure how long.
