I thougt I was using a more expensive brush, It is excellent!
This brush works so well I purchased another type of brush ( Blue Handel) from the company. They are well made and perform better than many more expensive brushes. This brush is very soft with plenty of backbone and very little splay which I like. I have only used it with Chella and Proraso soft soaps and it makes abundant lather in seconds. I do several swirls in the soap bowl and lather it on my face. I am very happy with both brushes as they perform excellently. Comparing them to my Simpson T2 and Viking White Knight I have to say they are just as good on all levels except I prefer these lager handles over the T2 and WK handles. The bristles are also softer than the WK bristles and about the same as the T2. Both brushes have a very dense knot with good back bone but will splay according to the pressure you apply. The blue handle brush has a larger knot than the barber pole version.

This is a lather beast
I have a few shave brushes. Nothing too expensive, but I do have a boar hair, pure badger and silvertip badger brush. This is my first synthetic brush. Up until now, my silvertip was the lather machine. But I did a side by side compare between this brush and my ST brush and this brush built up the lather much faster. Possibly in half the amount of time from my silvertip.Things to know:1. The handle is solid and weighted so the brush sinks in water.2. This brush has very good backbone.3. This brush is soft so you don't feel the scratchiness of the boar or badger hair, but still with the backbone of the brush you still need to give some good pressure to get the bristles to splay out.I am really enjoying this brush and since it's not from an animal, no need to "break in" the brush to get rid of the animal scent.Note: for those who really like and want that scratchy brush feel, I have found something that really works for me. If you have a Walmart near you stop off in the pharmacy department. Pickup a jar of Noxzema face cleaning cream and the generic electric face scrubbing devices they have in the area. (Possibly need to check makeup area for scrubber) I normally will apply the Noxzema to my face and start soaking my brush, soap bowl and soap puck. While all those items are soaking, I will give a "buffing" of my beard area with the face scrubber to work that Noxzema in to soften and loosen the stubble. Then I start to build up the lather in my bowl. Once I have the lather in "peak" form, I do a nice hot/warm water rinse of the Noxzema and apply the lather and do my save. So far this has been working out great, and you can get the Noxzema and scrubber at Walmart for around $10. With this scrubber I don't need to have a scrubbing shave brush.

Great brush for the price!
Someone posted on a wet shave facebook group how happy they were with this brush. So I went and took a gamble and purchased one for myself out of curiousity. The price is reasonable, comfortable handle in my hand and the synthetic knot is the softest. Surprisingly, handles extremely well when using in your shave bowl too! I honestly thought it wasn’t going to last. Very happy with this purchase and already looking into others from Je&Co as well.

This out-performs my badger brushes
The only downside to a synthetic is that it doesn't hold temperature. So if you load your brush and put a little hot water in the bowl, it's going to be cold by the time it hits your face. Provided you let it sit while you shower and/or prep your shave. What does that really matter? You should already have washed your face with hot water causing your pores to open and applied pre-shave oil. What you really want is to use the most out of your shaving soap. Being able to lather well and apply to your face while raising that facial hair for a close shave. This brush works better than the badger brush I have of the same size and triple the price. Really what's the point of real badger, boar, horse hair? Is it really just a status symbol like wearing a mink vs a faux fur coat? Because honestly, this synthetic brush not only outperforms my badger, but also works, looks, and smells better.

Nice looking, good performance
Looks great and applies lather well. Does shed a few bristles after a couple of uses but solid after that. Good value for money.

Fantastic brush !
This is my first synthetic brush, and it did not disappoint. So much softer than my badger brush. Love the design and excellent quality.

Softness in a synthetic brush
This brush replaced a boar hair brush I used for many years. I love it. It makes a good lather, is soft, holds water well. I have used it for 6-months. At this point I would order it again should the need arise.

My First Shaving Brush
I wasn't expecting too much, honestly. I picked this brush with zero knowledge or experience, just went for price and looks. Turns out, it's not only beautiful to look at, but a wonderfully soft, well made brush. It's my favorite part of my new ritual- shaving my head.
