No more slug damage
Thought my vegetables were gone, saved by this product. No smell, no dead slugs visible so does as says, they go back into the soil. Animal safe too. Great value and peace of mind, quality as always from Richard Jackson.

Squirrels love them.
Don’t really know how to rate these. They work well but I discovered the squirrels in my garden devouring them this morning. The slugs will go underground after eating them so the birds don’t eat the slugs but seemingly squirrels love slug pellets. They are of course harmful to wildlife so I found myself trying to clear them up at 7 o’clock this morning. If you value the wildlife in your garden be very careful.

Keeps the plant eaters under control.
I purchased these again to help control the vast amount of slugs and snails in our garden. Have been using these before (five + years) and they really work and are kind and safe to animals, insects, birds etc who visit the garden. A superb product.

Awful
Well, actually, it's awful if you're slug or snail! This stuff is amazing, it really does work. It seems to be nothing like the usual pellets you can buy - it doesn't seem to grow mould if it gets wet and there are no dead slugs or snails with the associated flies and yuck! They simply vanish. Brilliant stuff.

Waste of Money
I spent ages reading through reviews trying to make an informed choice on the best slug pellets to use, I thought I'd nailed it with these... I hadn't. They're useless as my poor Sunflowers, Peppers, Calendula and Livingstone Daisies will attest! The slugs literally crawl over them and carry on chomping. Also, after (about) two or three days, the pellets go fuzzy and look decidedly mouldy. This was an expensive mistake and now I need to find a safe way of disposing of the rest because it's certainly not worth putting them on the soil to save my plants!

It Definitely Works!
All of my plants have been devoured by slugs every year and it is heartbreaking to see. I have started planting slug resistant plants now but I still have other plants which they eat. Every night I would go out with torch in hand and pick up the slugs. It was relentless and exhausting as I have a large garden. Fast forward to Richard Jackson’s slug control. Applied probably too much initially but the slugs chomped on them and actually ignored my plants. The photo above was taken during a rainy afternoon. I did see the slug eating the pellet, in the second photo he was moving very slowly (more than usual) away and hid under a bit of bark (bottom left of pic). Can I say that he didn't look very well 😬. Anyway, the next day I found him just below soil level dead. My little Rudbeckia plant (green matchstick in photo) is now starting to grow. There have been no sign of slugs or snails and no trails to see. I did apply the pellets every night for 4 nights and haven't done so since. On the downside, the Magpies eat the pellets. I caught one inside a large pot with a Hosta and he ate every one. Not harmful to wildlife (Mr Magpie is still visiting my Hosta) which was so important to me. If not consumed, the pellets turn white-ish in colour and break down to help your soil, so its a win win. Bit expensive but I would definitely recommend these.
