JIB Boaacoustic 4N OFC HiFi RAC to RCA Male to Male Subwoofer Cable - 16.4ft/5M

As mentioned, the quality of the product is not in question, actually for the modest price point, it's extremely good. That said, the die cast shell used on this audiophile grade cable is large. It's pretty much equivalent in size, to a full size RCA die cast shell. What this means is, it will not fit properly in a typical cell phone housed in a protective cell phone case. Likewise, many of the industries Blu-tooth headphone offerings, have a 3.5mm stereo input on board,for those who prefer a hard wire connection. But again, the size of this cables die cast shell is simply to large and won't fit many of those headphones. Back to the good stuff, I'm using mine between a D/A converter and a powered speaker monitor and it's perfect. If not for it's somewhat limited applications, I'd have given it 5 Stars!

The caveat to a five star rating is the cost. Whether a less expensive auto cable equal to these can be found would require more comparison than I'm able to do. The better quality of sound is easy to hear when compared to several ordinary cables. This cable is a beautifully made. The size and flexibility of cord is ideal. The ends came with formed rubber covers not shown in the picture. On one end I needed to pull the rubber back to make the connection. These will not disappoint if you want to be sure of sound and quality.

Good sounding cable. It was compared to one I've been using for awhile that had previously won out in any comparison I had done. The JIB won on this one. More detail, bass impact and overall smoothness.The only negative I have with it is that it is definitely microphonic. Any contact with anything else can be heard. Since it is being used as a headphone cable, this is not good. But I typically am sitting in a chair when listening, so I can avoid it. The music covers it up anyway.Not gonna deduct a star for that....

I bought this to replace a Wireworld Cable that cost me over $150.00 and to me and my son, this cable sounds way better. I was really surprised how much clearer everything sounded. Better highs, bass was tighter and deeper and vocals really sounded great. I was really surprised (and disappointed I spent so much on the Wireworld cable ) this cable sounded better than the Wireworld. It was a toss up between this cable and a Pangea and i'm glad I chose this one thanks to my Son.

Well made and came in attractive box but while it had good tone it was overly controlled in a way that took the life out of the music. As well, the wall plug is oversizedand you can only fit one per duplex which would be OK with me if it provided explosive dynamics or frequency extension, but it didn't. Lastly to be fair I was using this on a big amp and tried on my CD player as this cord is labeled for subwoofers and I do not have one and the price in audiophile terms is very low but overall I didn't like it.

These are simply the best audio cables. I've actually been using it for my headphones, and the quality is awesome.

I've been very happy with this optical cable. The audio has been flawless and the cable itself is soft and flexible - not stiff, with a large bending radius.

I use my headphones at least 7-8 hours a day. Finally a cord built right.

Ich verwende zwei AURALiC Aries G1 Streamer: einen im Hörraum, wo ich die digitalen Signale an meine Kii Three Lautsprecher übertrage, und einen am Kopfhörerplatz, wo ein Chord Qutest DAC die Daten wandelt. In beiden Fällen verwendete ich bisher USB-Verbindungen, um das Optimum aus den hochauflösenden Musikdateien herauszuholen. Als ich einmal meine Gräte umstellte, hatte ich kein passendes USB-Kabel zur Hand; das nächstbeste greifbare war ein billiges, generisches Toslink-Kabel. Ich verband Streamer und DAC damit, um wenigstens „behelfsmäßig“ Musik hören zu können, denn Toslink genießt in High-End-Kreisen keinen besonders guten Ruf; wohl wegen der Begrenzung der übertragbaren Samplingrate. Aber dann war ich schockiert, wieviel besser als gewohnt die Musik plötzlich klang. Ich probierte es im Hörraum und mit Kopfhörern aus, mit USB-, Koax- und dem Toslinkkabel und das Resultat war stets eindeutig: Toslink hatte immer „die Nase vorn“, die Musik klang luftiger, natürlicher, besser räumlich aufgelöst, einfach besser. Ich führe es auf die 100-prozentige galvanische Isolation der verbundenen Geräte, die Unempfindlichkeit des Kabels gegenüber Magnetfeldern und das praktische Fehlen von Kabeljitter zurück.Obwohl ich skeptisch gegenüber „Kabelklang“ war, hatte schon bei USB-Kabeln festgestellt, dass Klangunterschiede existieren (die nicht zwingend mit dem Preis korreliert sind). Darum wollte ich etwas höherwertige Lichtwellenleiter anschaffen und stieß auf diese Blackberry-Kabel. Es handelt sich um eine sehr preiswerte Produktserie der teuren Edelfirma Boaacoustic, die noch unterhalb der eigentlichen Einsteigerserie Blueberry angesiedelt ist, jedoch nicht wie diese in Deutschland hergestellt wird, sondern als OEM-Produkt von der chinesischen JIB-Generalvertretung speziell für den Onlinehandel wie z.B. amazon vermarktet wird.Die Kabel kamen in einer hochwertig anmutenden Kartonverpackung und machen auch selbst einen durchaus edlen Eindruck. Beim ersten Hören damit stellte ich fest, dass die Musik bei gleicher Einstellung nennenswert lauter wiedergegeben wurde als mit dem Billigkabel, ich musste also die Lautstärke herabsetzen. Die Tonqualität ist absolut untadelig, genau wie ich es erhofft hatte, darum werde ich die Kabel behalten. Ob eine weitere Klangverbesserung durch noch teurere Kabel möglich ist, weiß ich nicht. Vielleicht werde ich irgendwann einmal Gelegenheit haben es zu testen. Diese Kabel weisen jedenfalls ein sehr gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis auf und ich kann sie guten Gewissens uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
