It work really really well !! Zap !zap! Zap away all the flies and insects.
It is not very big, but it is very powerful, we can all hear it when the killer zap the flies. It sound horrible but I am so excited.There are a lot of dead body of flies and smaller insect only few days.It came with spare lamp as well. It is not heavy and there is a handle for easy carry. So easy to use plug it in and turn it on, ready to go. Oh there is a little brush , it is very important brush, there are some insect are stuck in the wire which my fingers are too big to get, so the brush can get to brush awag the dead bodies lolIt work really really well !! Really DOES do what it says on the tin!
I have had several similar cheaper gadgets with lower power over the years....all were disappointing. This one really does attract and ZAP flies with a loud crack. Maybe because its a more powerful one with a bigger light. The only down side is that although it has a good strong handle to hang it from, it tends to be a bit vulnerable if stood on its base. Needs to be somewhere out of arms/hands reach, but that done it works wonderfully.

Highly recommended
I bought this ready for the new season of fly infestations last year our house had them everywhere ,so I plan to use this one with my other one.The lamp arrived quickly, the instructions are easy to follow.When it arrived I tested it and it seems very good the cost of running is very good we are on a smart meter and I am happy with the results so far.The uv light is nice and bright so it will work well attracting the bugs . I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Design flaw, fine if you have ceiling socket!
I am so annoyed about the basic design flaws in this product! The cable comes out of top?? The very short cable. So how can you plug it in - you have to stand it on the floor, which doesn’t make it effective. I have now got to rig up some sort of extension lead so I can place it at the recommended height.It does come with a chain but how many people have a plug socket on the ceiling?The replacement bulb is also broken. I am going to try and return it and get a different design. I will update later if returns are refused.Amazon great, said yes we will collect tomorrow. But I have kept it, why? Checked all similar fly killers and the lead situation is identical, cable comes out the top and is very short. So we had all better get to know some electricians to start putting sockets in our ceilings. Ridiculous!

It lasted 3.5 months
Since I can see no way of communicating with either Amazon nor FOCHEA I will just have to give this item a poor review. I have had this 3.5 months and both tubes have gone u/s. Yes they give you one spare but that is not much good when you only have just one tube replacement. Just over 3 months and the item is now unfit for use. Really???Hopefully this will concentrate their minds.

Best fly zapper yet
We use the lamp to stop flies going on to the cats food. Have used other makes before that proved to be useless. No problem with this one. It really works. It makes quite a loud ‘zap’ when a fly lands on it but find that quite reassuring as you know that its working. No problem with flies since we bought it. Comes with a spare bulb and cleaning brush.Highly recommended.

Like fireworks going off
I have this on a shelf in my garden office. When a bug gets fried it goes with a loud ZAP like a firecracker exploding and makes me (and my dog) jump every time. But I'd rather have the occasional rush of adrenaline than insect bites. Good value for money, seems to do the job, haven't tried clearing out the fried bugs yet because its so high up...

Works really well
Glad i bought this it really works, it's a satisfying explosion when a fly hits it and when it's dry weather and the fly's start coming in it's going off all the time. when I say explosion if you're close to it when a fly hits it you will jump as I always do it's brutal.
