I like the smell, I like the texture it gives my hair. I love the protection it provides when I silkpress, blow dry and curl my hair. There is very little build up. It is light and not tacky. I LOVE THESE PRODUCTS : Mizani.

I normally use a spray heat protector but did like this cream one. It smells nice and kept my curls frizz free and long lasting.

This is my number one heat protector. The quality is excellent and it’s not sticky. I’ve been using this for years because of the softness and ease of use.

Needed But did not use yet!

So I went through a period of not using this due to a hair dresser implying that it is not good and to lean toward more natural products. I'm disppointed in myself because I didn't listen to my own advice of "if it ain't broke...". And honestly, it got harder to find this product for any price. I have 3c to 4 hair and I use a maxiglide as it detangles my hair and provides steam rather than just dry heat. But paired with the Mizani heat protectant, I don't have a greasy feel to my hair, and it's not dry looking either like a blowout. My hair is not suppose to look like that, it's supposed to look like my own natural sheen and curl pattern and I prefer what works for me and not to try all the new fad things that have seem to damage my hair within the 5-6 years of using them. Natural oils have there place, but I haven't had so many issues until switching over to them exclusively. So I use my naturals only at the cleaning and conditioning points in my haircare regimen including deep conditioning. Then I twist my hair, let it air dry, and apply Mizani in sections as I maxiglide my tresses with twirling to achieve that bouncy curly look with no frizz! In a perfect world, I think I would have no frizz and that's what the end product of using Mizani heat protectant gives. Love this stuff. It's not a bad smell either, but definitely doesn't smell good like those natural oils either.
