Paul Resika: Eight Decades of Painting Hardcover – May 26, 2020

I studied with NY artist Anne Tabachnick who was friends with Nell Blaine, Bob de Niro, Larry Rivers, Lois Dodd, Bob Thompson, and Paul Resika. I met Paul Resika through College Art (CAA) at Stanford. What a fantastic human, artist and teacher Resika was!This book is a gem for all interested in second generation New York School Painting. Alice Neel who I also met was First Generation NY School as was de Kooning and Pollock.Great book on Resika!

beautiful book with terrific illustrations and an interesting text. Resika seems to have fallen out of favor. I hope this book will remedy that.

So much depth and personal interpretation in his paintings!!!
