I absolutely love this book! Not only is Danielle's taste impeccable, she goes room by room to describe her design process and how to decorate, purchase and arrange so that you can maximize the ease of entertainment and living. Her approach to life is elegant, but make it livable and casual enough to accommodate kids, dogs, and the occasional spill. I especially loved her chapter on her "party pantry," or more commonly known as a butler's pantry. What an inspiration! I am now trying to figure out how to re-design my downstairs so that I can have one too. This is one of the better and more inspiring design books that I own (and I own many)! Highly recommended.

This is my favorite design book to date that I own. It is rare that I read the copy of a design book, but this one is worth the read! Although I cannot afford to do anything she did, it is still inspiring to do things in my budget and apply her principles. I have given this book as host/hostess gifts a few times. I absolutely love this book and highly recommend it!

The book is beautifully photographed and fun to read. It has decorating, entertaining and garden design tips you can apply even if you don’t have the same budget the author has!

Gorgeous and inspiring traditional decor!

This book is an in-depth look at Danielle's Tuxedo Park Home. I wish that she would have provided before and after pictures in the book as well. The house is beautifully done and Danielle truly thinks of everything when designing her homes.
