Excellent light.. these beat the candle type bulbs by adding a more modern look to your room. We have two fan lights (10 ft) in our family room and these bulbs finally brought the Decor together.They give great lighting over dinner/game table and in room.

I think I have just forgotten what an incandescent light bulb feels like when it is on so I am not saying they get hotter than they should, just to be aware these are not LED bulbs and they do get hot. If you are old enough, you may have baked cookies and tiny, crappy cakes in an easy-bake oven powered by the heat of a single incandescent light bulb. So they most definitely get hot and I think these tiny bulbs seem to get even hotter than a standard bulb. I just received them a couple of days ago, so asking about longevity should include an n/a answer option. I have purchased a different brand of bulk bulbs fron Amazon in the past and out of twelve, at least 4 'exploded' and burned out immediately upon putting them in the ceiling fans. They were frosted and these are clear, so I think that is why these seem brighter than the other 60 W bulbs, but everything else is better with these, so it's quite possible that they are brighter as well. Each bulb is boxed individually and they wrapped them in a piece of large bubble wrap before putting them in an Amazon envelope. They were protected and appropriately packaged in my opinion. I would have to look back to see what I paid for the last 12 bulbs to see exactly how much better these are than those in terms of monetary value. That said, no matter what I paid for either set these haven't burned out upon installation in four ceiling fan fixtures so long story longer, these are well worth what I paid and I am pleased with the purchase. These are the brightest of any I have had in the past and the packaging is more practical than large, flimsy, partitioned boxes that don't really stack nicely with other household items or light bulbs. I would recommend and I would purchase again.

So far so good. The bulbs arrived unbroken (which is always a worry with light bulbs, of course). We haven't used any of these bulbs as yet, therefore I can't comment on longevity.

This was a fantastic deal, but one of the filaments arrived already disconnected and one burned immediately upon turning it on. So I just considered it an 8 pack, still a good deal.UPDATE: These have a slightly shorter lifespan than the name brand models, so I'm downgrading them to 4 stars. I've done the math and am sure this pack is still a better deal than the named brand models, despite the shorter life span

So glad that this company sells this style. It was hard for us to find the right base that we needed in a candelabra style. Thanks to the company for providing a good product that's hard to find.

I bought these to replace the bulbs in my Scentsy warmers, and they work just fine.

Approximately 1/2 of the bulbs in the box blew out immediately- as soon as they were put in use.
