LENGTHI looked at the questions and answers and it clearly says these strands are 30 feet long. In reality these are only about 8 feet long. That was a big turn off. I bout 100 foot strands of plain led lights from Costco for under $4, so I thought it seemed plausible, but was disappointed. Fortunately I only bought one.COLORThese turned out to be purple when there was some light and then turned blue as it got darker. They are a fairly dark blue.RELIABILITYIt has been a few days, but there have been no issue they all work fine. We have not had any rain or snow though.OUTDOOR USEThese are not designed for outdoor use. These are very different from earlier sets I purchased from another vendor and poorly designed for outdoor use. They have USB connections, and have no protection of any kind to keep moisture out, which is very strange if intended for outdoor use.Overall I would not buy again, I just don't like the poor design for outdoor use.

These were great at Christmas and I’m planning to use them again next Christmas.

These were great. Exactly what I was expecting. I bought a couple and I was able to connect them together using the USB plugs to create a longer length. I wish they had a timer or remote with them like other LED lights usually come with, but they are still very good. They are made of fairly cheap plastic tubing, but durable enough not to shatter. We will see how long they last.

These are far superior to the first generation of this style I first saw ~10 years Ago on Xmas trees at the Westin St Francis hotel in San Francisco.I’m only using them inside so I can’t comment on the weather proof matter.This year I’m not having a tree , but have found amazing ways to use them - under angel hair, around my disco ball, etc. love em!!!

Very cheap and easy to install. The more you connect the less power that goes through so every other so lights you must connect to a power drive.

Lights were easy to put up, worked right out of the box, and were bright. The cascading light made a nice touch to our Christmas display.

Quality not great. Wouldn’t buy again

I bought two sets for a small tree in front of my house. I think I will add a couple more next year - for a more impressive impact. These are not waterproof so we wrapped some plastic around the plugs and sealed them with electrical tape. All in all, we like them.
