We like the Sunbrella fabric, but are concerned about the crank and automatic tilt, as it is very hard to turn the crank, and we are afraid it may break.

I recently purchased the California 9-foot umbrella with Sunbrella fabric, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! This umbrella has exceeded all my expectations and has become an essential addition to my outdoor space.First and foremost, the quality of the Sunbrella fabric is outstanding. This umbrella is colorful and does the job to provide shade on my pool patio. I insert the pole into a center slot of a round table into a heavy-base stand that can be tightened. ( also purchased on Amazon). It is very sturdy. The crank opens and closes the umbrella easily. It does have a slanting feature at the end of a full opening of the umbrella if you are desiring more shade adjustment. The only thing I would like different is that the tie is not velcro like my last umbrella. You need to tie a knot in the ties.

Umbrella was good as described but shipping was bad. Box had written on it Fragile. The box was torn and you could tell in shipping, it was handled very roughly.

I also bought an 11 foot version of this same brand of umbrella. Both are made with Sunbrella fabric. Don't be fooled by others that list their fabric as Fade Resistant Sunumbrella fabric. NOT THE SAME!

I am thrilled with this umbrella. I have had the umbrella for approx. a month and it has not faded and has held up despite the fact we have had a few pop up storms that were severe. I couldn't be happier with the product.

What a disappointment… The quality of these umbrellas has gone downhill. The fabric is thinner, the stitching is mediocre and the color looks unnatural. I should just return it and go to Big Lots and get a 50 dollar one and replace it when the color fades. That would equal 4 umbrellas for what I paid for this one!

So far the black umbrella has not faded. That’s why I chose Sunbrella. I have cushions and they have not faded in 3 years!!

A beautiful umbrella. It does take some strength to crank into tilt position but is easier than umbrellas we had with the push button tilt. It looks great and doesn't allow the sun's rays to penetrate. Love it!

Fabric and colour are great.Only thing is this doesn’t tilt, and I didn’t want to keep cranking it and break the mechanism . Wondering if anyone else had this issue ?
