Super fun kit to do alone or with kids
This is a really simple kit and the taste is decent! Much better than I expected having grown up with one of those Dr Dreadful candy making things in the 90s. Texture is great as well... not gritty. Making the fake fish roe was super neat but very time consuming. If you like doing things that take a little time and help take your mind off things, it makes a great stress relief project and the best part is you get to eat it.My son is 4 and had fun watching and helping a bit as well

Very fun kit for making candy sushi
I saw this reviewed on Youtube (bigclivedotcom) and thought it would be a hit at a small friend gathering. It was actually quite fun, and everyone enjoyed the process and the treats at the end.Specifically, this has a small tray with measured areas for mixing water and custom powers into to create differently textured, colored, and flavored gelatin-like bits. One looks very similar to rice, others become a more solid strip (egg/salmon), and one area one creates actual tapioca boba which resembles roe. All of it is some mixture of starch and sugar, and has a sweet taste that appeals to children. (Salmon tastes like strawberry, egg tastes like mango, etc.)It's quite fun to make, and the resulting items look very much like little bits of nigiri and sushi. I could also see these being used as cake toppings for someone who is really into sushi or such. For the price, these are probably not a goto for regular candy making. But as a novelty, they're well worth the purchase price, and will entertain children 8 to 60.
