I purchased it to fertilize through my soaker hoses but there is not enough water flow to create suction to draw up the fertilizer. I tested it with just an open end of a water hose and it works fine so it would be useful with other irrigation systems.

I read other reviews and put a 3/4" ball valve in parallel to this device. If the water was on full and the valve was 100% open, no suction occurs...which is what I wanted. As soon as I started to close the ball valve, suction started and the liquid (fertilizer) in the bucket/container was drawn into the water stream.

It works perfectly with full flow of water. I was using it at low volume/pressure and it didn’t create a suction. It wasn’t the item it was my use for it.

I wanted an easier way to add chlorine to my rain water collection system. This worked great, just installed it into the feed line and put a tube into the bleach, turned on the water and it sucked the bleach in. No more climbing a ladder to pour it in.

it will not work for irrigation. The only way to make it work is by not using sprinkler. If you use it with your hose directly and pipe, without sprinkler, it will suck the water. But not good for irrigation or Sprinkler.

Threw in the garbage

The media could not be loaded.  I’ve bought 2 of these, one worked for a couple of weeks and stopped creating a vacuum. Second didn’t work at all. No matter how much PSI I give it just doesn’t create a vacuum. Spend the money to purchase a high quality product or you’ll be wasting a lot of time installing and remove these in your irrigation line.

i have worked on this all day, will not suck out the solution. i have tried with the container on the ground and having it above the injector no go. save your money and buy a better product!
