The best sweatpants are from American Giant American made. But the champion sweats are on par with American giant and half the price. Heavy material and fit well.

Thick weight and good price

This is an easy review because these are my favorite sweatpants. They are the only kind I buy. They fit great, they are perfect for the cold weather and they wear like iron. My highest compliment is that I won’t even consider other sweatpants.

Well made sweats. Legs shrunk up about 2 inches after wash and dry. Still plenty long enough. I always order tall to allow for shrinkage. I'm 6 ft 270 lbs and like extra length in the legs, so i order the closed bottom sweats so they bunch up at the ankles. Might be to long in open bottom style at my height. Ordered three pair and all were the same length when laid on top of each other, and the waist size was also the same. Have to wait and see how durable they are and how soon they fade from washing, thus the reason for only a four star rating at this time. UPDATE 10/29/22; The former review was for 2xlt sweats. Over time they have kept shrinking in length a little more and fading. I decided to order 3xlt for a looser fit, and after washing and drying they fit as I hoped. I still weigh 270 to 275 lbs and am fine with the larger longer fit, especially when sitting. I wish the ankle openings weren't so loose, I don't have particularly big legs or ankles and they tend to slip down to my heel, but they are still well made so I have no real complaints at this time.

These Champion Reverse Weave sweatpants are great. I had these many years ago on sports teams, and more recently too.They are thicker & tough; mostly cotton (80/20); relaxed fit for comfort & movement; deep side pockets; some have a back pocket; with the reverse weave they shrink very little maintaining length; last for years.I am 6' tall with long legs & wish the inseam was longer.I love em & if these features are what you're looking for, I recommend giving these a try. Well worth it!

Coming apart at seams after 1 wear and wash. They are 'pilling' (is that the term for tiny pieces of fabric coming off the garment and getting all over my socks and carpet?) Leg length ok but not sufficiently high waist tailored so not a true “tall” size or fit. Material very thin; not true sweat pants. I'd return them if I could but can't per Amazon policy so I will throw them away and buy a different brand; $25 wasted. (They're so bad I won't even put them in a charity box!)

The crotch on these pants is ridiculously long. I had to pull the pants up uncomfortably high before it looked right. I've owned tons of sweatpants over the years and none of them were like this. The models must be wearing something else in the photos because if the crotch were as long as the pair I received, it would turn into an internet meme or something. It's hard to overstate just how incredibly long the crotch is on these pants. You will be known as the person with the weird crotch pants if you wear them out in public. The fabric seemed fine and I was pleased with the quick refund, but if I haven't made it clear yet, these pants have one glaring issue.

I ordered the XS, too tight on the waist for me. My ideal size would be S but the legs would be too baggy.

Great material. Bad stitching around waist elastic. I had to repair by hand after one wash. Also the blue faded on the thighs to pinky purple color. Still love them as outdoor workout pants during fall.

My son is 6'5" and it is hard to find things that are long enough for him, he said they fit and is very happy with the quality.

Nice heavyweight sweatpants. Best ones I have ever bought. I use mine purely for casual wear and find them very comfortable and lovely weight of material.
