Delicious, Here's Why...
We used to drive to Burton every year in the spring when I was young(er) to enjoy the pancake breakfast. The breakfast was (and probably still is) amazing, completed with Geauga County syrup on the pancakes. When we broke out the bottle of Richards, it brought back a lot of memories of that unique, gentle maple flavor. My wife has always been a fan of a maple syrup produced in another unnamed state, but after trying Richards, I think I may have a convert. (I think that she talked more about the syrup, than she did about me at our wedding.)So, the best way that I can decribe it is amber with an excellent maple flavor, but not one that I would call syrupy sweet. I don't feel overwhelmed by the sugariness of it. I am not sure if that is a result of the region where the trees are tapped or the manufacturing process, but it leaves me with no regrets that I have real maple syrup on ny pancakes, and wishing that we had "breakfast for dinner" more often.

Watery?
EDIT:Increased to 3-stars because the previous bottle may have been extra think (idk).[Original]:Maybe they forgot to cook mine down? The previous bottle I had was hidden Valley Vermont organic, and it was obviously thicker.

We starting using this about 20 + years ago. We live in California and my Brother-In-Law sent (who live in Ohio) us one for a gift some years ago. It was the BEST!! He continued sending them for some years. We recently learned we could order this on line here at Amazon. So now we have a good stock piled up. I've tried a lot of maple syrups and this one is the best in my opinion.

Phenomenal syrup!
This product is absolutely delicious! We bought this to do a smoked turkey recipe we found on YouTube and this syrup was recommended to use as one of the ingredients in the recipe. It didn’t require much for the recipe so we had a lot left over. We have been using it on our pancakes and waffles ever since which we now love! It tastes so much more natural and rich compared to the store bought syrups.

There is no comparison to the taste of this syrup and syrups from a grocery store.
I grew up in Cuyahoga County (Solon), which is very close to Geauga County. My family and I would go to the pancake breakfasts in Chardon, Burton, and Middlefield (all in Geauga County). I now live down south. This syrup brings back memories of those pancake breakfasts. I’m partial to syrup made in Ohio, since that is, and always will be my home state. It’s great to be able to have syrup that brings back pleasant memories. There is no comparison to the taste of this syrup and syrups from a grocery store.

Saw this product from my hometown in airport gift shop, decided to order it on Amazon so I wouldn’t have to carry it through the airport, good product from local maple trees, highly recommend it

Great tasting
Since moving to Ohio, we discovered this syrup. We've bought for ourselves and given it as gifts to our family back home and nothing has compared to the flavor. As a plus, we're supporting a small local business.

Very good taste. I use it on waffles and I use in my coffee every morning. Good pure Ohio maple syrup!
