When it absolutely, positively MUST work
The media could not be loaded. When it absolutely, positively MUST workThey say a picture is worth 1000 words, so how much is this video saying? So I pretty much think the video says it all but there may be a couple of questions. The paper is simple laser printer paper and a pen is a Zebra F-701. There’s been comes in some of the crappy us staying on earth but it has the fisher space pen refill inside it and it fits mostly it is a little bit tight so if you widen or snip the silicone collar inside the metal tip of the pen , it’s smooths out quite a bit. The liquid is water despite many of my friends determined to believe it is vodka. I suppose it would work as well but the ink might run a little more. Anyway who’s going to waste that much vodka?I’m actually surprised when I run into somebody who’s never used his space pen at some point in their life. Is the ink the prettiest? No. Does it right the smoothest? No. But does it write where nothing else will write and on what nothing else will write? Absolutely. And actually it writes pretty darn smoothly all things considered. I prefer the medium points for smoothness and line is still quite fine. It uses a ceramic bowl in the point and I think that’s responsible for a smoother flow and smoother writing experience than a steel bearing point is. Some people complain that there’s a little difference between the fine in the medium points and maybe you said but I think they’re really missing the point of this pen.I take them camping and hiking. They write in the rain quite well ( I pair them with the “Rite-In-The-Rain notebook ) You can keep them in your car in the heat isn’t going to destroy them. They’re not going to explode in your pocket and they write a lot better on airplanes than my other pens.In my experience the cartridges last a considerably longer time that other ball points as well. The ink never dries up or evaporates. Being left-handed one tends to smudge over the things they write and this is permanent oil base think that dries very quickly so I usually don’t run into that problem like I can with other ball points and fountain pens.I’ve not been impressed with the actual pen construction that Fisher makes recently but the refills are still solid. They’re not cheap comparatively but they’re still affordable. It is far as I’m concerned it’s twice with a regular refill is but I’d last three times as long so it actually is a better value. And this thing does what no other pen made can do . If this is an a five star product then I don’t know what is.

Good stuff
I purchased this to modify a Zebra 701, and it worked like a charm. Not only that, but it writes smoothly and neatly, and the ink has lasted longer than the stock cartridge. Impressive!

Perfect refill
I wasn’t happy with the medium cartridge in my space pen and ordered the fine. It’s so much better. It writes better, looks better and feels better while writing. I will only ever use the fine refill for now on.

Works Great! Plus...
The pen refill works very well; exactly as advertised. In addition to fitting the space pen, it also fits into the Zebra F-701 Stainless Steel pen, with a quick (1 minute) alteration to the pen tip bushing. The advantage of using the space pen replacement cartridge into the 'off brand' body combines the "write any where, any position, any time" functionality of the space pen with the near-tactical, rugged, stainless steel, knurled grip Zebra pen. Combining the two results in a pen with the best qualities of both.Zebra F-701 cartridge replacement:The F-701 has a soft plastic bushing inside its pen tip. This bushing has a tapered inside diameter, which gets smaller as it approaches the tip of the pen. Before putting the space pen cartridge into the zebra pen, unscrew the zebra pen tip from its body, and push the space pen cartridge tip into the Zebra pen tip BACKWARDS. This will unseat the internal bushing so it can be easily removed. Cut the bushing with a sharp exacto blade or sharp scissors, removing about 1/4 of its length, from the tip (small) end . Then, slide the space pen tip through the (now shorter) bushing. It should slide through and back with no resistance. If it feels tight, trim a bit more off the bushing. Repeat until the new cartridge tip does slide to and fro, with little to no resistance. (Any resistance can cause the pen to not click open or closed successfully.) Re-assemble the zebra pen, using the F-701 pen body, spring and bushing with the new Space Pen cartridge ( but NOT the included spacer) to create a ruggedized version of the Space Pen.(Note: In addition, the existing Zebra F-701 pen uses the same cartridge as any Zebra F-401 pens that you may own and use.)

Good Substitute for a Parker Pen Cartridge
Am satisfied with this cartridge. Bought it use at work as I have numerous forms with very small areas to write. It does not smear and allows me to write in the little blocks. Lets face it Folks, some people that design forms didn't consider the real world or end users. Some time ago, I bought a Fisher pen which came with a black medium point and see if it met my needs. Nope. It needed more pressure to write with than a medium Parker pen cartridge. So this was a scratch - no advantage over a Parker.Decided to give the fine black a try. Compared to the Fisher medium point, this requires less pressure to write and has a finer line. Also, this, my first Fisher fine cartridge, is smoother to write with as compared to the Fisher medium cartridge. It is a winner. Now comes the big question. How does it stack up against the Parker fine point cartridges? There always has been some variation in the writing smoothness of Parker cartridges. More than once I've returned a new Parker cartridge because it rolled roughly on the paper. The Fisher rolled smooth first time. Both cartridges have smooth and uniform lines. Both cartridges have a large ink supply. Both cartridges fit my Parker pens. The Fisher needs an adapter which is included. So yes, this is a viable replacement substitute.Considering the Fisher pens and these cartridges, they seem are high quality with good tolerances. I suspect and judging from my small sample, these cartridges will continue to be a quality productHave been a Parker Pen user for man years.

Spacepen in disguise
Der Fischer Space Pen ist ja relative bekannt. Das Beste an ihm ist die Mine, die durch ihre Gasdruckfüllung tatsächlich auf so gut wie allem sofort losschreibt und auch vertikal "nach oben" schreibt. So weit so gut.

Eccezionale
Funziona benissimo in ogni circostanza. Consigliatissima!!!Ecco forse la punta fine è un po' troppo fine per i miei gusti... Ma é veramente una sfumatura. Il refil scrive benissimo, sensazione di scrittura paragonabile alla Parker.
