i gave it a 4 star because i was confused at FIRST but i understand how to use it later.PRO: Accurate Reading Overall im satisfied.Cons: Hope you make them BLANK STRIP for easy understanding.(IF the strip where all blank out of the bottle THEN once it was wet the strip would show you the color of what is in your water would be easier to understand)that was my confusion because once the strip was wet it was difficult for me to tell the readings it looks the same as it wasn't even wet just a little bit darker. I bought this because i wanted to know how much Fluoride my city pour into our drinking water. The strip worked as intended showing Fluoride to be 0.0-0.5. Thank you COVID19 our water a bit cleaner now since there's less worker dumping poisoning in our water. So for a while me and my family had been reluctant to drink any water from our fridge or use any water from the sink due to fear of contamination of lead or anything especially since we had heard neighboring cities had, had lead problems in their drinking water so when I found this product on amazon after searching for something like this in store to no avail you bet I was excited to try it out after purchasing the product it arrived in no time at all and was super easy to use and understand comes with an instructional booklet and helpful comparison chart I was able to test my drinking and tap water in under a minute and I no longer have to fear that my water is contaminated this awesome product tests not 1 but 15 different types of things found in water and tells you whether your water is safe or not I am so pleased with this product and I recommend having this in your home also it come with 100 strips so each bottle will last you quite some time a solid 10/10 for me and my family

I am on well water, and I'm right next to a lake. Over the years I've wondered if our very expensive softener/treatment system (which injects chlorine into the water to fight iron) was doing a good job of removing contaminants and filtering out the chlorine after it had done its iron-reducing job. After a 6 month run of "the runs", I was wondering if me and the wife were getting sickened by the water. We could have spent hundreds of dollars taking a sample to the county water people, but I thought I'd give these strips a try.They work great, very easy to use, accurate, and gave us peace-of-mind that our water quality was good. We had tested the quality for our fish tank a few months ago for basic PH and that test showed high alkalinity. These strips confirmed that.Best of all there are a LOT of strips, so we can do tests monthly if we wish for a long time.

I kind of think that the Petsmart version of these worked better but they measure different things in different ways so apples to oranges. From what i could tell in measuring my twice filtered tap water verses old water in a fish tank, is that these strips didn't really give me any real confirmation. I gather they are only sensitive enough to be in line with water authority standards and claimed I didn't have chlorine when i know it was there. Basically useless, telling me that my tap water was in the "green", when it was far from it. I would not buy these again.

Well made test strips that seem to be accurate for my purposes and a very large number of them. I have building my own water treatment system for my well water and with other additional testing for arsenic, etc., these strips give me an excellent base line by showing that these fifteen metals and elements are not present or that I have removed them with my filtering, softening system including three charcoal filters, one large heavy metals and a five micron pre-filter followed by a one micron filter. The water has been safe to drink for three months now and tastes great! With occasional testing with these strips, I have reached a good level of safety for myself, family and pets and these help tp keep proving this. Thanks for the creation of these!

Recently purchased a dishwasher that had a water softener tray and needed to get a quick reading on water hardness in order to input the initial settings. The strip made it very convenient for getting a ballpark setting.There are many other specific readings the strip provides so I am looking forward to our next well water report so that I can double check using the strips. I had a little fun testing the water coming out of the tap vs out of the refrigerator filter vs out of our reverse osmosis unit and noted slight changes across the strips. Good to know stuff.

We have well water, and the previous owners of this house had the water run through a water softener tank.I guess I am very sensitive, but I do not like the taste/texture/smell of the softened water.The strips told me everything except the PH of our water is in a good range, and I also tested a brand of bottled water that I drink, because I don't like ours. The colors on the strips were EXACTLY the same as our well water!So the strips were easy to use, easy to read, and worth the money for peace of mind about the water.

I bought a Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System and want to see if the quality of water have improved. I bought some water testing kits but they all shows the tapped water and the filtered water was the same but I knew they are not because I can taste the difference. When I use the 15 in 1 Drinking Water Test Kit Strips, it did shows the difference and I knew I had hard water before the test and the test did shows my water harness was reduced dramatically. There was other results that shows why I was able to taste the difference between the filtered and non-filtered water.I did the test about 4 more times and all shows the same results.
