I bought a pair of these back in 2023, and I haven't actually had many occasions where I needed them. However, when I needed them, they made a huge difference. I would say they are a good investment for the cost, they're cheap and small and easy to keep with you when you expect snow.I will say there are two small caveats to having these. First is how they affect your gait. I found myself taking smaller steps with these on. However, you're supposed to take smaller steps when you're on ice, so that's not a bad thing. Walking on bare concrete in the less icy parts of the parking lot was manageable, but you do use your heel a lot more when you have to do so.The second caveat is that while these are great for walking across an unexpectedly icy parking lot, the small surface area doesn't inspire confidence for longer treks. If I am intentionally walking across lots of ice and snow, I think I would prefer to strap on something that covers more of the shoe to get a better grip.

I bought this pair to replace a previous pair. They are (relatively) easy to slip on and off of your shoe. A little more awkward while wearing the shoe, especially as I get older. But very easy with the shoe off. I like the small surface area as they offer ample bite directly under the ball of my feet, but are not so obstructive that I can't drive. They are also smaller than others so not as noticeable on your shoes and easy to tuck in a pocket when not needed. All in all, they conveniently offer some additional stability/bite while walking in icy slush. However, I am buying a second set as the rubber on the first set did eventually break.

I had bought these for when the weather changed... guess i waited too lobby to use them. I got them on and walked out to the chicken coop (about 100yds from house) and they broke before I even made it there! Went to start a return/replacement/refund and I had missed the deadline by 1 day. Was not happy. At least they were cheap... should have guessed they'd break.

Every wonder what it would feel like to fall on your hip, break a bone, shatter your pelvis ... well, with a few close calls, I decided I do not want to keep wondering, and would like to 100% avoid such a spill. Great and quick solution for icy conditions. Easy to slip onto any shoe, even works great with Crocs (although if I ever actually break something with a fall on the ice ... I will never admit to the ER doc I was wearing Crocs, with Yaktrax, while walking on ice! Ha!) Would definitely recommend, and suggest even getting a second pair! Great insurance to prevent a fall!

Work great on ice only,but if snow is on ice ,you will slip cause snow would compact around the studsand stop the studs from digging in ice...for traction..But that's my thoughts..but they help in emergency.

Yaktrax have kept us safe in our Wisconsin winters of unpredictable weather for 3 years now and we are very appreciative! We walk out on our roads in the country daily and we encounter patches of ice and snow and as long as we vigilantly wear our Yaktrax--we stay upright and healthy and we are able to exercise outdoors!We wear them when walking in town as well and have these in all of our vehicles to use as needed. They are easy to put on and are very well designed out of excellent material. We are in our 60's and not falling down is a very good thing!

When I don’t need to have the full shoe traction devices on, and just need a little extra help on the ice, these are great! I keep a pair in my car, if I go to the store and parking lot has ice, I can put on fast and take off and stuff in my purse before I go inside. Have bought numerous pairs, gifted many, these are a must have for quick traction and safety in a pinch.

I like these because they’re easy to take on and takeoff. I’ve had four pair they only last around 10 wears. I would recommend if you need something intermittently
