I got on a tea kick and bought a teapot and tea. I saw a tea cozy on tv show called Dr. Blake. I didn’t know what it was called but it looked sort of nifty especially if it keeps my tea warmer longer. This was an “Amazon choice” so I tried it. It’s darling on my teapot. The only drawback is that it’s a lighter color and tea stains get on it quickly. I washed it several times. You will have to remove the cork heat protection pad on the bottom by using the installed zipper. The zipper worked okay when trying to put the cork back in the tea cozy. You’ll have to work with the zipper and the cork pad. Also, the ribbon around the top will need to be removed before washing it. Then you’ll have pushed back through the seam opening afterwards. If you like to do things like that you will like this tea cozy. I’m considering replacing it with a tea cozy that just slips over the top of the teapot for less hassle.

Really gives my teapot a little something extra. I haven’t tested it in terms of keeping things warm but I will say that I love the hot plate built in on the bottom. Great feature and fit my 40oz teapot perfectly.
