Item arrived in two packages over a week apart. Having finally got it all ready there aren’t any screws or bolts in the packaging despite checking everywhere including the polystyrene, cardboard and plastic. Unable to assemble. Vonhaus have said I can send the whole item back rather than supply the fittings that were meant to come with them.Update: vonhaus have got in contact and are resending the box which should contain the screws bolts etc. I will update the review once these arrive. The kit itself looks solid and sturdy.Edit: once assembled great looking pergola. The canopy is awful but if you double hook it round one pole it’ll hold sturdy.

Had it a couple of years now, its rusted and the canopy holds water hence leaks, also note if in a windy area the canopy can take off! Avoid

Looks great, easy enough to assemble. The fabric sags when it rains and holds water. I fear it may rip if it rains heavily, putting some polycarbonate under the fabric so hoping that does the trick.

Two people needed for assembling.

The frame came marked, screws for fittings very small, instructions not clear, the canopy is not weather proof. Water gathers on top of there is a shower and leaks through. The design in the roof being completely flat means there water will always gather. Also other design flaws are unless you use a bungee cord to hold the canopy down on both sides a small breeze of wind the canopy flies up and makes an awful noise. We are requesting a return
