The color is a beautiful crimson burgundy. The lights are the perfect amount of brightness to enjoy at night without being blinding. They are soft & romantic. It has rained 85% of my summer so I haven’t gotten to fully enjoy the umbrella at night as planned. I fully intend to this fall. The assembly was easy & simple even though the instructions were a little confusing at first. I love the tilt feature & the span of the umbrella. It has provided wonderful shade during the day - when it hasn’t poured rain. Considering the amount of rain I’ve had it has held up great in this Alabama weather. Between the heat, humidity, & excessive rains, I am very impressed with this umbrella. I would definitely purchase again. Plus, I got it on Prime Day so I feel like I got a great deal.

The 1st one we received, the box was damaged, the umbrella had a couple holes in the wind vent top, it had a dirty area on one side, and the solar lights didn't work. We returned it for an exchange. The return was so simple and the new umbrella was received in a couple days. This time the box was not damaged and the umbrella looked great, but again, the lights didn't work. This time I got out the included directions of what to do in that case. I had to take the umbrella out of the center of the patio table to get the solar top off and, sure enough, it was unplugged, just like the directions said it might be. It was easy to plug in and reattach the solar panel, and the lights worked great! But if that's the 2nd umbrella that came with non-working lights, and if it comes with directions as to what to do in that case, then I have a suggestion for the seller: (1) PLUG IN THE LIGHTS BEFORE SHIPPING, or (2) Change the directions to say to CHECK THE SOLAR LIGHT PLUG BEFORE YOU BOTHER PUTTING THE UMBRELLA TOGETHER AND PUTTING IT UP INTO YOUR PATIO TABLE. Even so, I still give it 5 stars and we are ordering another one for our other patio table. But this time, I'll check the solar light plug BEFORE putting the umbrella up!

Bought 2. I bought the 2nd after I received tge 1st to make sure I liked it. They are perfect and just what I wanted. They are heavy and sturdy. Not too heavy though. The solar lights work great. I put them on early evening and they lasted through the night. I had to shut them off. But they are NOT bright. It's more ambiance than anything and that's fine for me. Easy to open and close. Strong against breezes and wind so far and I've the 1st one for about 2 months. I love the red color. They ARE the same color. For some reason my photos make them look different but they are a dark bright red like the picture with the closest view. Definitely worth the money. I'd buy them again for sure and might just get a 3rd.

The light switch of the first one that we ordered didn't work. We tried various ways to resolve it. We talked to an expert, ordered a replacement which never arrived, and finally ordered a new one. There was a lot of time spent on it, including a few phone calls, but the second one that we received works well. I noticed that many other customers had issues with broken light switches, etc. So, the manufacturer should improve quality control. For these reasons, I gave it an overall rating of 4 stars.We enjoy using it on our upstairs balcony. It gives much needed shade during the day and the lights create an ambiance at night. In the morning, the sun shines strongly through the living room window which faces east.When the sun is coming over the horizon, we lower the umbrella part way so as to block the sun. We find it easier to do that than use the tilt feature because of a roof overhang which gets in the way. When the sun moves later, we fully open the umbrella. A word of caution is that sometimes the wind blows it over when it's in the tilted position, even with a cast iron base, which we ordered separately.

I’m so happy with this umbrella!!! The color is true, it’s bigger than I expected, and it seems really durable; especially considering the price. As for the lights, I can’t really tell how bright they are because we have a security light close by and I took these pics on a full moon (oops!), but they all light up and I would guess they have a soft ambient light in a darker place. I can say they aren’t bright enough to draw mosquitoes 🦟, so that’s a good thing! I looked at about a dozen umbrellas and read probably a hundred reviews and I’m glad I picked this one. But I will admit that I was dead set on this color green, so I disregarded any that were not available in this shade. The only thing I wish it had was that joint that allows you to angle it, but this is not a complaint because it was not advertised that it did. I give it 2 thumbs up!!👍

Product: Crank handle and tilt mechanism is poorly constructed and weak. At set up one strip of lights didn’t work, no biggie. We have string lights outside so we didn’t even plan to use those. But 2 weeks later The hand crank faulted - no matter which way I turned the crank, the umbrella only went down half way. Again, not a big deal. I tried the tilt feature once, however the type of base I was using didn’t lock the pole into place so even a very mild breeze caused the umbrella to move so we put it back to the upright position. About 6 weeks into owning the umbrella (past return window) the tilt mechanism broke suddenly and the entire top-half of the umbrella went flying like a scythe, caught the wind and flung itself - and my patio table - over the side of my deck which resulted in an explosion of glass. Not happy.Customer Service: Superb. Contacted seller who responded very quickly, apologized, & requested photos of the umbrella to confirm my claim and to address the faulty tilt. Photos sent, quickly received another apology and the offer to replace or receive a refund. Since I no longer have a patio table, I requested a refund and received it within a day or two. I was told I didn’t need to return the umbrella which was great because I couldn’t even fold it up at that point. We just hauled it off to the dump. Hassle-free service despite the faulty umbrella, definitely made an effort to turn an unfortunate situation into a positive experience. Totally sticking with my easy-up for now.
