Old Santa Fe Trail Beef Jerky Route 66 Made in USA (Red Chili, 3oz)

I was ecstatic when I found this online, this is the beef jerky I usually get while on a road trip passing Grand Junction, Colorado. Im so happy I no longer have to drive 4 hours out to buy this! If you like moist, CHEMICALLY PRESERVED jerky, then this isn't the jerky for you. Some people give this product a bad review because it's not what they were expecting, like unhealthy and moist preserved beef jerky, yuk! It has a spicy kick to it, its not heavy on salt and the meat itself is thin.. like REAL beef jerky not the crap some people just throwing $13 away are looking for. This beef jerky tastes like the carne asada your Mexican friends/family invited you to come and eat in their backyard with red chili salsa. Its amazing and healthier for you too

I bought this jerky as a father's day gift for my dad this year - he loves old-style carne seca type jerky. This stuff fits the bill...dry jerky that's not too tough. The red chile is just the right amount too. Highly recommend!

Not sure what to think about this jerky. It’s super thin and dry to the point it crumbles. Tried to like it thinking it’s authentic. But I won’t buy again. I think if they sliced the beef a bit thicker the technique could be good. But it might not even be sliced beef, it feels more like beef mush spread out to dry like paper mush

I love beef jerky and these are the worst jerky I have ever had. They are flavorless and taste so stale that I had to check the expiration date. Sadly... they're still "good" until 2021.

I bought the original from a truckstop, cause I wanted a different jerky. Not gonna lie, wasent thrilled at first because it's not what I'm used to. But it's really not bad. IT IS A REQUIRED TASTE. It's super dry, like air fried dry, and has a weird taste, but it's not bad. Just try it and who knows, you may develop a taste for it.

This isn't that crap that tastes like it was boiled in sugar. This tastes and feels like real Jerky. Tastes like the beef it came from. Cant get any better!

Very dry and not tasty. I just threw the whole thing away. Maybe its me, maybe its Maybelline. Choose wisely. Thank you
