Easy to install -- even on my winding three-flight cellar staircase. Just measure and mark each stair with a pencil and square for consistent placement. I started by placing one end of each tread along a pencil line for an aligned, consistent look and then smoothing across the tread for no-bubbles installation. You just have to be careful, because the adhesive is very strong and hard (but not impossible) to get up if you find you've begun laying a tread a bit crooked. Cleaning the wooden stair tread surfaces is essential -- don't forget the alcohol application. I installed about 21 Skid Guard treads by myself in about an hour -- it would probably be even easier if you work with a two-member team, each of you holding one end of the tread straight while one of you lays the first end in place. But it can be a one-man job too.Nice product: it sharply defines the edge of each stair and the yellow line is an aid to the eye. Good safety addition to your cellar or other staircase to keep from slipping as you carry bulking items up and down the cellar stairs without being able to see your feet that well -- as we all do from time to time. Good product: I researched installing narrow tape that has to be cut to length and offers only limited contact with your soles. The six-inch width seemed the safer choice, and spares having to measure and cut tape lengths -- so the labor of installation was much less.I'm glad I got these Skid Guard USA treads -- a little more expensive, but just a little, and worth it.

We have steps just outside of our awning and they get wet when it rains. I power washed them and then stuck these down. Perfect and easy.

I put these on my outdoor stairs. It was exactly what was marketed and expected easy to put down easy to do the only drawback why I gave it. Four stars is still when it gets warmer outside. They get hot. I don’t like that for my puppies so I’m gonna have to put some other kind of material over the top of it somewhat to keep it from being so hot, otherwise super great product

These replaced some rubber mats on the garage steps, which was always susceptible to someone tripping on them because of their thickness. These skid guards are great - almost no thickness but plenty of grip. Installation is easy - just clean steps with rubbing alcohol, peel the backing off, align with steps, and stick ‘em down. Super sticky backing so make sure you get them aligned before applying!

We purchased the strips to place atop our dog ramp for our elderly labs. They work great to give them traction. They actually use the yellow to keep themselves in the middle of the ramp.Definitely serves the purpose. The adhesive does melt in intense heat such as 90+ that we were having last year.

Put these on our wood basement steps. Easy to see and has good grip. Not stylish but old and safe trumps style.

We’re perfectly as indicated. The glue is strong and holds very well without slipping. Would highly recommend them.

I love the strong adhesive. I finally wore out my original set that lasted 6 years on a boat companionway ladder. I was happy to find the same product to replace it.

Don't buy these they don't stick. The adhesive for a good bond is not adequate. The bond came apart in less than two weeks
