Quality of materials is very good. Easy to assemble if you have an extra pair of hands (I didn't).C3 convertible tops are a pain to store and this unit works for convertible tops with some retrofitting. Key is to attach a 2x4 to the back of the unit that is taller than the height of the top when fully extended. Use a nylon adjustable strap from an old piece of luggage - attach an eye hook at the top of the 2x4 - then run the strap from the eye hook, down thru the middle metal support that is part of the top, then back to the eye hook. That will hold up the unit and support the weight. Provided cover is very large and fits well.

Works well for a first gen Miata hardtop. Good and sturdy. Larger wheels than most other stands. The included cover was way too big, meant for a much larger top. Had to cut about a foot off the bottom and rehem it.
