ReeseHomestyle Caesar Croutons, 5-Ounces (Pack of 12)

I bought this crouton for my husband, being greatly aware of its nutritional values. My hubby loves it when I can't make him any garlic bread to go with his salad. This product can also go as stable snack during emergency/evacuation situations since it is full of preservatives and calories.

I bought these thru warehouse deals and have enough to last me awhile. I am trying to eat more salads and avoid the fast food and these are a great compliment to a salad. They are really crunchy. Even after pouring Italian dressing on the salad, they stay crunchy which is great. I wanted to try another flavor but with all the bags I have of these right now, they'll last awhile. First off let me say that the product (Reese Homestyle Garlic and Cheese Croutons) were great. They were light, crunchy and very tasty.The major negative was that we received this product in Mid October 2011 and the freshness date is Mid January 2012! So we end up with 12 bags of croutons that we have to try to finish in 3 months. I realize that they will most likely not "expire" then, however the taste may have become stale. The company should really watch to make sure that the freshness date isn't soon for so large of a package.

Received 12, 5 oz bags of croutons today with an expiration date of 10/09/2012. Not okay!!. Opened first bag with very fresh croutons; however, the closure strip do not work, therefore, presents another con with this purchase. The price was right and received in the time limit quoted. Even praise the freshness of first bag of croutons. Seller really needs to work on a longer expiration date.

I could no longer find these at my local grocery store so I decided to order here in bulk. I love that they are in individual resealable packages. They have a great Ranch flavor and are crunchy but not too hard. I love adding them to salads, soups and just having them as a snack.

I had to give the whole case away. These things have a bizarre heat to them. There's no black pepper to be found, so I don't know where it's coming from. It's like capsaicin or something was just sprayed onto them. I don't mind spiciness one bit, but as far as I'm concerned, it's not a legitimate thing to have in a Caesar crouton. Yuck.

Great product. I love the croutons. They are really tasty and fresh. I have purchased before and I would purchase again.
