Oregano leaves ?
Not sure if this is really Mediterranean oregano ("Origanum Vulgare"). Very bitter, so suspect the oregano might be "Lippia Graveolens". Nothing on the labeling indicates the type of oregano or origin. "Packed in USA" doesn't tell you much. Definitely agree with the previous reviewer that the sharp needles make it unusable for most purposes. Also no "packing date" or "use by" date on the package so who knows how old it was. Pass on this.

Very disappointing
There are so many pieces of needle- like sticks in this oregano. It has not been processed enough to remove them and they do not soften during the cooking process. Extremely painful to the mouth and a real turn off. I will not buy again.
