My husband snapped one of the laces on his brown dress shoes so I bought this set to replace them. These appear to be of good quality and we were able to use one pair so far but you have to be aware that these laces were thicker than the eyelet holes on the dress shoes we were replacing. I was able to lace the shoes after a struggle and once laced, they work beautifully in the shoe just a bit of a struggle to get it laced.

These laces are very similar in quality and width to the other 7/8/9 pack black/ dark brown/ brown/ tan dress round 2.5mm laces, out there. What sets these apart is that they are relatively shinier than the others out of the box. I'm sure the shine will wear off over time but until then. . .

Laces are nice. As expected. 2.5 mm is a bit small but not unwearable. Good quality laces that for me stay tied because I always double tie. I don’t know why you wouldn’t. BTW when you pull the lace over for the second knot to untie them simply pull the end facing your toe and both knots come out. Might have to give it a good tug.

Ordered this set because it seems after I wear my shoes for a few months the laces start to rip apart. This set gives me a good range of colors to replace laces in a few pairs of shoes, and the price is great!

The laces are the perfect length and the variety of colors match all my shoes.

These shoestrings are very durable and just as advertised, multi colored for every type of dress shoe or boot
