Nice little tool, but beware, it's little
I didn't read the dimension carefully, the description says it's 3 1/8" long, but it measures 2 3/4". What I really wanted was something about an inch longer with maybe a 3/8" bigger diameter handle. What I got almost feels like a toy. Good for finer work with smaller bits, but what I really wanted was a bigger one that I could control with one hand. I don't have big hands.

Not bad. I just enlarged the jaws og my collet slighly.
Yes the collets(s) are smaller than they should be but there is a 1 minute fix. The larger one ca be fixed simply by putting it into a drill. With some viggling, you can get a file in there and hold it with a clamp. Then turn the drill to essentialy file the inside diameter of the collet. Done!

I bought this as a swiss file handle as advertised. However, it does not fit any file I have ever seen. It comes with two collets. One is around 3/32" and the other is zero. That's right, zero. A blank collet. Every swiss/needle file I have ever owned has a 1/8" shank. Not sure what this Is for.

Different from the picture
It was different in shape from the one was shown in the picture. The metallic part seemed slightly rusted.

It's "universal" just like some things are "one size fits all"
It's "universal" just like some things are "one size fits all": it works a little bit for every tool but doesn't work for everything. My gravers don't stay in here even though they're supposed to be the same size.

Great for what it is (a small handle for wee tiny tools like jeweler's files).

tiny handle
The picture on Amazon website is a handle for warren blades. What I received is very small and is only good for a sewing needle. The length is 3 inches and handle is 1-1/8 round. I do not recommend this item to anyone.
