Easy to use

Great product
I own a cabin high in the Rocky Mountains of Utah. I recently added two decks and wanted a real outdoor look on my cabin. I used pine logs from my lot, but wanted to have rails that were easy and smooth to lean on. I saw this product on Amazon and searched locally for finished 3'' logs. After purchase, I took the logs to my cabin and was pleasantly surprised at how well this Tenon Cutter works. To trim, you need a jig to hold the log, or someone to stand on the log being trimmed. In all this tool exceeded my expectations and we trimmed 16 3" logs with no problems.

Drill bit broke on first use
Tenon cutter worked but 2 in Forstner bit broke on first use. Manufacturer did not respond to my contact with issue.

Poor manufacturing
Used 10 seconds and cutter blade came loose and was not able to tighten because set bolt hole was stripped. Tried to do a replacement return but now the product is 3 dollars higher so no replacement will be done.I will be purchasing the competiters product instead.

Log molder
This made my life so much easier. It trimmed the log ends and made fast work of my railing project. I highly recommend this item.

missing parts
did not dislike the product missing 2 inch frostner bit had to go and buy one. i needed to use the cutter the next day.

Run slow, keep the bite small and take your time. Chips will fly!

almost as easy as sharpening a pencil
amazing product, set the blades to the size of the forstner bit and it can be used with coordless handheld drill even if you know how to hold it..

Nicht noch mal
Das positive zu erst; die Lieferung kam früher als erwartet.Allerdings ist der zapfenschneider an sich nur mit Vorsicht zu genießen.Er produziert sehr dicke Späne was sehr schwer für die Bohrmaschine ist.Auch ist der zapfenschneider sehr leicht. Eine eingebaute Libelle zum ausrichten fehlt auch.Der Forstnerbohrer ist auch nix dolles.Für das Geld finde ich das eher enttäuschend.Fazit; der nächste zapfenschneider kommt wieder von Veritas.

BEST MONEY IVE EVER SPENT
Love these tools; my only recommendation is that the user wear gloves when using them. My hands took a beating while putting up a fence.

Didn’t send the forestner bit
Would be great if all the parts arrived but no forstner bit came

Hold the drill tight.
Found it very sharp and works good. Takes a bit of playing with to use to it and also you need a big drill to run it.
