Keeps sand flies away.
Sand flies are a nightmare in central America. I have used this product on many beach vacation trips over the years and found this to be effective at keeping the bites down to a minimum. A couple sand flies still get my ankles and legs, but it could be worse. Usually I sunscreen first, then apply cactus juice over any exposed skin (arms/legs), less my face. The avon skin so soft bug lotion/spray seems to be more effective for mosquitoes.

Love this stuff
We took this on a dive trip last March/April and it works great! It's not smelly and really helps cool the sunburns if you manage to be like me and not bother with sunscreen until AFTER you're burned (yeah - I'm a goof). It's also great for bug repellant. We definitely will be buying more for sure!

Leaves terrible hot rash for 3 days on my 8 year old son and I on face, ears, neck and arms
Received this product late and travel size was missing. Seller never replaced it. Ingredients in the Sun and Skin left my 8 year son with a rash on face, ears and neck. We spent 4 hours on a Friday at the ER. He is not allergic to anything!!!! I also broke out in a red itchy rash on my arms and hands too. The ingredients are too strong or not of good quality. Do not waste your time with this bundle. I have bought and used the Cactus Outdoor green bottle and it is very effective against yellow flies in Florida. Just purchase the Outdoor alone because the other bottles are too strong. I have not used/scared to use the miracle gel blue bottle so I cannot rate that bottle. I wish I would have just bought the Outdoor bottle. It would have been cheaper and would have done less damage to my son and I. The bottle states for use with 6 and older children. I hope this reviews helps others to choose. I chose based on the only review that said 5 stars and works great. This set is not 5 stars if you break out in a rash that stays for 3 days!
