If you have a stock height truck, DO NOT get these shocks, Although they "fit", they do so at maximum extension and become VERY UNSTABLE through turns and bumps. To put it this way, a shock needs to expand and contract to the roads needs. The shocks are fully expanded, when installed on a stock truck. The result, anytime the shock needed to expand, it was already expanded to full capacity and loud thumps and bumps could be heard throughout the truck. This resulted in a very unsafe and a very unstable ride in the back. It sounded like something was falling apart in the rear. I installed the KYB 55055, and all the problems went away. a side-by-side comparison of the two shocks show that the Belltech is 1 inch longer FULLY EXPANDED than the KYB COMPRESSED. In other words, this shock is very very short. This shock is for a car, not a truck or SUV. Do yourself a favor and spend an extra 10-15 bucks on ones that actually fir properly.
