Transition Reader to Authentic Latin Authors
Excellent transition reader from first and second year Latin grammar books with watered down readings to reading real Latin. The earlier chapters are readings from Eutropius, which eases the student into reading a real Latin author while avoiding the complexity of Cicero and -- da mihi veniam -- the dullness of Caesar. There is extensive vocabulary on the page adjacent to the readings and questions about the readings that ensure the student understands the passage (which the student can read first to complement the reading). One star less due to limited and simplistic grammatical explanations although a student or teacher can supplement with a standard grammar like Wheelock or Moreland & Fleisher.

Great product
The book arrived very quickly and is brand new, although it was supposedly lightly used. I am delighted with the product.

Great description!
I had ordered another copy of this book that was rated "good" but was so poorly marked up- it was not usable and had to be returned. This book was rated "acceptable" but was described very accurately- small scuff on outside but brand new on inside. I greatly appreciate the description- I will be more aware next time when ordering and it was delivered promptly! Thanks.

Ecce Romani III from Amazon
This is a good text for a Latin III or advanced Latin II class. It can be supplemented with passages or sentences from Wheelock's Latin, also available from Amazon.
