Installation
Worked great! Installation: 1) clear any little pieces of broken black plastic where the other piece broke off. 2) now look at the brass pin inside the faucet base (on the counter) that you will be attaching the handle to. 3) this brass pin is screwed on so it will go up and down on as you screw or unscrew it (DO NOT UNSCREW IT ALL THE WAY OFF). 4) unscrew it until the top of the brass pin is even with the top of the piece it is screwed onto. 5) now look at the part of the handle you will be connecting to the brass pin and you will see the shape that the brass pin will fit into. 6) to install the handle turn the plastic handle (so it is parallel to the faucet pipe and the red dot is facing the faucet pipe and try to line up the brass pin and the handle's brass pin shaped hole and push down so the brass pin goes into the handle hole. 7) once you feel it seat in the hole you should be able to turn the handle to regular position and you are done.

Glad A Replacement Handle Was Available
Almost ecstatic we found this handle available on-line as a standalone part while doing a Google search on the In-Sink hot water dispenser we have. Snapped into place easily, although one has to have it pointing up while doing so. Takes a moment or two to figure out this is out dimensionally. On the other hand, does not say much about the durability and strength of this simple part on an In-Sink unit, although we have had our unit about 7 years. Now discontinued and very pleased we did not have to replace the entire hot water unit. Hope others find the same luck if needed.

This is perfect and just what my grandparents needed to fix their hot water dispenser. They have had to replace this part multiple times because it's such a delicate piece with a hard job. The only reason why I gave four stars instead of 5 is because it came packaged very dirty as if it was used and pryed off some broken machine then stuck in a bag and sold to me. Other than that, I was a happy camper. Also it should be said that no directions come up this item so you have to know what you're doing when replacing this piece.

Exact replacement part for my instant hot water unit.
No issues. Snapped right on and went back to work. No fumbling with the old broken one anymore. Bought two units, one for the future. Seem to last a long time and well made.

Directions or a Diagram Would Have Been Nice!
Easy to install once I figured out the placement of the copper peg on top of the mounting screw! It had me perplexed for a while since I had screwed the peg down flat on the screw. Only way to attach the handle then was vertically against the spout which was obviously wrong! After looking at it for a while I finally realized that the peg had to be at the very TOP of the screw in order for it to snap into place. Once I did that it was a breeze. Directions or a diagram for us who don't normally deal with plumbing would have been nice. I was out of town when it was broken off so I didn't see how the peg and screw were supposed to be, but a little common sense and patience...........

Watch out for other non-Amazon sellers
Pops right in—ready to go.Fortunately I had read reviews and knew exactly what to do—hold it nearly vertical, push and lower.I had ordered a piece online from another parts place at several times the price. Item was inexpensive, the S&H was EXORBITANT!!!! Fortunately, I had a Better Call (Amazon)” moment. Much cheaper and much, much sooner.
