Fit the bracket, did its job, but really needs 2 people
I had finally identified the garage door brand and found the seals online - it was time to view a few youtubes for installation practices. A common issue was that the last installer would over crimp the metal bracket ends to trap the seal and prevent it from sliding around. That's exactly what I had with my mother-in-law's garage door. It took a while to open up the crimped channel and then reform it. Access was quite awkward. There is little room for error in the design and I was doing it by myself. For some reason my semi-disabled 84 year old 5'4" MIL was reluctant to climb on a ladder and help me feed the seal into the unforgiving grooves on the mildly deformed metal bracket. In the end I had to creep the seal about 1" at a time by pulling on the leading end then go back and push feed the backend and make sure the beads did not pop out of the channel or bind (which they did continuously). This was a 16 foot door so think of it as running bleachers for 20 minutes. Once installed the seal fit well and did its job. The designers of this proprietary door seal and bracket appear to be interested in making it so frustrating that homeowners would pay to have it done.

Will not fit my application
It will not fit my application, and I could not return it because of the 30-day rule ( was out of town). So , my disappointment is with Amazon and not the seal.

It's the small 1/8 tear drop size.
The garage bottom seal is the 1/8 size which is the very small tear drop shape. It was too small and it was not the size I needed. Due to the size it was easy to install. I had to clamp the metal with pliers to close the gap and prevent it from falling out.

Nice
It worked really good. Used a little WD40 and it slid in pretty good. Did it all by myself.
