Purgatory Hot Sauce (5oz) - This sauce was created as one of Smokin' Ed's experimental capsaicin amalgams. Once it's SHU tested over 1.5 million at a leading university, this zesty sauce became world-famous with it's delicious combination of Smokin' Ed's Carolina Reaper and just the right amount of onion and garlic. This sauce will remind you why you go to church--or wish you did! The PuckerButt Pepper Company grows, harvests and produces great tasting all-natural pepper products and is home of Smokin Ed Currie and his Smokin Ed's Carolina Reaper - The World's Hottest pepper. Smokin Ed artfully crafts his delicious smokin' hot recipes with pure all-natural heat - no extracts.

Just right
This is a great hot sauce. Really good flavor. If you are a chili head its only 1 million SCU so its not gonna do much to us. I personally like the mix of quick heat (ghost chilis) and slow burn (reapers and habaneros). I dosed my chicken and some pizza in it. Just right. Non chili heads, this is gonna be a bit much and you'll only be able to take a few drops. Youre next Pepper X (last dab)

The 2nd best sauce I've had from Puckerbutt
It's excellent, it's hot and flavorful but I recently got spoiled with another of the Reaper pepper sauces from Ed and the gang. They always do an amazing job and it's always very fresh.

natural flavor with decent heat
This sauce tastes pretty natural (think home made salsa). It also has a decent kick.

Complex and fresh flavor
Impressed by how much these sauces taste like fresh picked peppers. Juicy ones at that.

Great flavor, but too hot for me.
I can't use this as a stand alone condiment, but it imparts nice flavor and heat to sauces and dips!

Best of both
Fabulous taste that won't burn your taste buds off! If what you want is pure heat, look elsewhere. But for the best combination of flavor and fire, look no further.

Great flavor! But I was expecting it to be ...
Great flavor! But I was expecting it to be much hotter, I was able to dump it right onto my tongue and be fine like other normal hot sauces. My tolerance is higher though, I don't consider tabasco a hot sauce it's a vinegar sauce.
