The collar was our young house cat's first real collar and we are impressed by the quality of the construction and the crispness of the pattern. It's great that it comes with a bow tie, a bell and a small charm. Tokio didn't like the bow tie, although he looked handsome in it, and the bell kept waking us up at night but, if you have a formal cat who likes to sleep at night instead of leaping from bed to dresser to nightstand, then their addition is worth it. We left the little charm on the collar because it not only looks cute, but it rattles against his name tag which is just enough to help us avoid tripping over him in a dark hallway but not loud enough to wake up everyone in the house.

If I could give this product no stars, I would. There is nylon stitching around the edges- thick, durable nylon. On its surface, that's a great idea. However, my collar was defective, and the stitching came loose in a loop. Somehow, my kitten got the loop stuck around her canine (first picture). It dug into her gum and cut her- you can see the blood on the second picture. I am *furious* and can't recommend this product to anyone who loves their cats.

Very cute collar. Love that the bow tie part is removable, as it is bulky for little kittens and my kitten did not like when the bow tie part was on, so we just use the collar without the bow tie and love how cute even the collar itself is without the bow. Turns out my kitten is so fluffy that you can’t even see the bow tie through all his fur anymore if I put the bow tie on. I attached the only photo I have of him where the bow tie showed when he was 8 weeks old. Within two weeks after that you couldn’t see the bow tie anymore through his fur if I put it on. Would be great for shorthaired cats but super fluffy cats the bow tie likely won’t be as visible. Would also recommend monitoring your kitten if the bow tie is on... my kitten freaked out about the bow tie and tried to bite it and got his mouth/tooth stuck around the collar and I had to take the collar off to get his mouth unstuck which was kind of scary. He has never done that with just the collar without the bow tie on it. The breakaway feature on this collar is also harder to open than previous cat collars I have used so it takes some mild intentionality to get it off rather than it just coming off super easily. Personally, I wish it would come off just a hair more easily, but I wonder if other people might actually like the security of it not coming off super easily. Overall, I absolutely love the look of this collar and am mostly pleased with the collar even using it without the bow tie. Have only been using it for two months so far but it’s holding up great so far.

My cat may be old and partially blind but she loves to be stylish. This collar is so pretty. Is is very adjustable. My cat is petite and it fits her neck but could be adjusted for one of my larger cats. It has a durable bell, a snug closure and an adorable bow.

This was the first collar I got for my cat, she’s 7 and I rescued her, so I was unsure how she would do with a collar. However, she let me put this on her with no issues and it is SO cute. I am half Japanese and it makes me happy to see a little kawaii on my kawaii kitty. I am knocking off a star bc I don’t think it’s a “breakaway” collar. It’s hard to get off, even for myself, and kitty doesn’t like it when I have to take it off her bc it’s so hard! So far no issues but I do worry if she ever gets stuck on something when I’m not home. Luckily I am quarantined (it’s been 2 months now) and can keep an eye on her progress. Anyways, I recommend this if you don’t mind the breakaway function!

It's a flexible fabric with a colorful design. The bell was nice and the breakaway part of the collar is at a good strength. Durable enough that it doesn't slip off, but the cat can easily break it if it gets caught in something.As it is fabric, it does dirty easily. I also wouldn't suggest leaving the bow in it at all times. The bow shifts around a lot, and my cat had a lot of trouble cleaning her chest and would chew on the ribbon. It's good for pictures, and I guess if guests are over, but I wouldn't suggest it as an everyday wear sort of thing.

Cutest collar ever! I got this and was worried my 2.5 year old cat would hate the bow on it but he doesn’t mess with it at all. This collar is very cute and stylish. The quality is great no more or less than something I would buy at the chain pet stores. I like the bell on it so I know where he is sometimes. I removed the extra charm just because it was too much with his ID and rabies tag. It was really cute though! I’ve had this on him for about two months now and it has small pulls from him scratch or rolling around on the concrete outside which is to be expected. The avocados are just so cute! Worth the wait on this item!

Very pretty bow tie color. Looks high quality!I feel the red color stands out very well on my cat. The design also just looks plain classy. I think itlooks festive for visiting my mom for the holidays!The bow can be removed if you want to (but why would you?!).I am very happy with this bow tie collar! Much cheaper than etsy too, but looks just as great!I also got a similar design in navy blue by the same seller.The collar also came in what appeared to be a jewelry looking box. It was cute!
