Very few things organize and make my life easier. ...
Very few things organize and make my life easier. This bag does and it so well made and costs so little. When I leave (to do whatever) I either must assemble the documents/things I need for the trip; or, it occurred to me I could get a shoulder bag and just leave with that.Given this, I read (watched all the utube reviews) and a lot would have done; but, this looked really neat, was small and well made. AND IT COST SO LITTLE. So I now have my bag and have loaded it with diabetic stuff, notebooks, check book, pen set, glasses (reading and sun), car and house keys (including PO Box) keys, small flashlight, latest book I am reading AND new clutch bag for credit cards, licenses, Cash, bland check, Emergency Health Care Notice -- doctors, etc. 13" notebookAnd it all fits NEATLY ... now it just get up and go no matter the tasks and/or destinations .. e.g., I live near Aspen and Ski a lot. If I want to beat up valley trafic I really should leave before 7 a.m. Blurry eyed it just grab my bag and go.

Great bag for the price
Full disclosure: I paid full price for this item and bought it for my own use. :) Thought I'd mention that as most of the reviews I read before buying it were written by folks that got them free or nearly so for their reviews. That out of the way, this is a great bag...for the $27 I paid for it. It's a small, canvas messenger bag imported from China (the only tags attached were all in Chinese except for the brand name "Yufan"). It just fits my 11.6" Asus Chromebook in an Amazon Basics Laptop sleeve ($8.50 more). I'd strongly suggest using a sleeve with a laptop as the bag is entirely canvas with no padding. If you use this for a laptop, I'm not sure it would fit a full-size 13" laptop, but just might fit a 13" Macbook Air or slim Chromebook or PC equivalent. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't fit a 13" computer with a protective sleeve. The 13" sleeve is an inch longer then the 11" sleeve, and not sure there's a full inch of room left over with my computer and sleeve in the bag. Then again, I don't know for sure and Amazon has a good return policy, so you can always take a shot. It's got a few nice pockets and a bit of style. Everything seems to be put together well, so far, and the strap seems solid and attached well. It's a good little all canvas bag for school, work or whatever.Did I mention it's only $27 (+ $8.50 for the sleave)? That makes it a darn good bag, indeed.

Functional for a student with a Surface Pro
For function, I like it. I use the front zipper pocket for fast-access items (keys, occasional phone or computer charger), and the back pocket for pens. In the inside magnet pouch I have a metal water bottle, wireless mouse, snacks, and sometimes I throw in my sunglasses. In the main zipper compartment, I have my Surface Pro 4 for all my academic work (notes/books/applications). A Surface Pro 3 has the same dimensions; it fits in with 2" stretched clearance, 0.5" relaxed fit clearance. It comes out easily, but with the clearance only 0.5", I sometimes throw my pen in separately as it sometimes snags when as I pull out the laptop. The sides of the keyboard sometimes rub (especially if I am wearing the bag while I put it in), but I'm not worried. There is a small metal zipper pocket within this main zipper compartment that rubbed on my Surface Pro, but I inserted a manila folder next to my computer, and that seems to be sufficient enough. I keep USB thumb drives and other small things I don't want to lose in that small zipper pocket. The manila folder protects my documents and keeps them crisp; I'll be replacing it with a rigid folder for improved durability. I ocassionally have a small reading book in either the magnetic pouch or main zipper compartment. For form, The leather is blended leather (not whole raw leather, but reconstituted leather from leather fiber). It's not the plastic pleather, so it Still feels and looks nice; raw leather would probably cost much more. The material seems sturdy, and the bag looks pretty good.I'm about 5'9" and medium build. I was looking for a light and slim bag to complement my Surface Pro 4. This has been great so far. I'm a graduate student, with the Surface Pro, I can take all my notes in handwriting or typing, do all my work, and it saves money since all my books are usually free in digital form through my University (and I can use my Surface Pro to write in the books with my own handwriting and still be able to search!). It works for me when traveling through the airport, although it will get bulky because I probably overstuff it.Having it so far has been great and simplifies my day. I'm forced not to take (and worry about) so many things that are heavy and I don't really need. I've even used the front pocket to carry my swim trunks and goggles for a morning swim before class.

This product is greatly improved. Kudos to the manufacturer..
I bought this bag last spring and wrote a one star review stating I was very unhappy with it. My main criticism was that the material it was made from was so limp that the bag would not hold its shape. When I set it down empty it just collapsed into a heap and when loaded it took the shape of the load.Since I wrote that review, I've been contacted by the manufacturer and have been told that the product has been improved with stiffer material. And I've been asked to order another one at their expense to try out the improvements. So I did.The new bag came yesterday. I've loaded it and have been using it yesterday and today. I find that the material is much stiffer and the bag holds its shape when empty. It doesn't collapse into a pile when I sit it down empty. And when loaded it still keeps its shape. Now the original bag that I ordered was taken over by my granddaughter as she went off to her first year at university so I have nothing to compare the geometry of the new bag with. But it seems that the diagonal zipper on the front flap has been repositioned to open more of the storage area. All in all, this has turned out to be pretty good bag. It's the smaller size but it will carry with ease my HP Pavilion dm4-3099se, 13-1/2 inch PC. For the price asked by Amazon, it's a great investment compared to others. I have to give it 5 stars this time. This is a much better bag and my main complaints have been fixed. My hat is off to the manufacturer for listening to his his customers and striving to present a better product.

It was like the label was moved left a few inches
There were two things wrong with this bag as soon as I received it.1. The label was not centred as shown in the picture. It was like the label was moved left a few inches, and then down a few inches, placing it in an awkward location.2. The label has writing on it, specifically saying "Xiao Bau Deng". Again, it does not show that there is writing in the picture of the bag.Everything else about the bag is what I expected, but those two minor issues should not be present in the first place.
