Therm-A-SEAT Ice Fishing Hole Insulator/Cover

Whish I'd gotten these earlier! What a huge convenience. They work great. I bought them after barely getting a 37" pike through my 7" hand drill hole after it froze over on a 0 degree day.

It does help to keep your ice fishing hole from freezing up. However if it's really cold your hole will freeze up eventually no matter what you do, but it will take longer

I purchased two of these and only one came with the manufacturer's center plug with a line guide. There is no way to contact the company so a review is necessary. Maybe I will get contacted with a fix for this issue?

I got three of these for my son for Christmas. He asked for these by giving me the link to them. I asked him the other day how they're working as he ice fishes nearly every day. He said just great mom, they're the best and I've tried them all.

These work with rod and reel or tip ups. Good for keeping snow out of the hole and to greatly slow hole freezing. They are not heavy so need to be held down by tip up or some snow/ice shavings if windy. Have not had them freeze down even when placed in wet ice shavings.
