CLOSE THE GARAGE DOOR BEFORE PROGRAMMING!!
I purchased Refoss RGR540C remotes for my Liftmaster Ultra Opener with original 373P remotes and purple "learn" button. Based on specs & reviews, Refoss remotes should work perfectly. I approached the house (a rental) and opened the garage door with my old remote and expected it to take only a minute to program the new remotes. Pressed the purple button and learn light came on. Pressed the button on the first Refoss and held it. Learn light started flashing. Released the button on the Refoss. Pressed it again as instructed. Nothing happened!! Repeated this process and again nothing. Tried to "teach" the second Refoss with identical results. Left the house to re-read the instructions, closed the garage door with my old remote. Tried both Refoss remotes again but neither would open the door. Re-read instructions and online info and it did not appear that I did anything wrong. Assumed a cockpit error and returned next day to try again, Exact same results! Read instructions again, but noticed that the first thing the Remote is supposed to do after "learning" is open the garage door. Willing to try one more time before returning Refoss remotes as non-functional. Returned to the house the next day, opened the garage door with my old opener, but this time I CLOSED the garage door after entering. Repeated the "learning" procedure and....... the first Refoss remote opened the door! Second Refoss also "learned" when the garage door was initially closed. Both worked immediately. I can only assume that the logic on the remotes and/or the Liftmaster Ultra opener requires a "closed door" initial condition. This might actually be a security feature to prevent "evil-doers" from entering an open garage and quietly and quickly programming their own remote. Refoss should change the instructions to clarify this. Otherwise the Refoss remotes seem to work perfectly, although the activation button is much TOO sensitive to the touch.

Easy to program
First and foremost These are specifically for the door opener with the purple switch on the back.Programming is easy per online instructions. Had them both programmed in under 2 minutes. Range is great from a certain angle, but I think that may have more to do with the opener than the remotes, as my previous ones exhibited the same behaviour.

Fast setup
I've been using for just over a month now. Extremely happy. Purchased to replace a Chamberlain 371LM remote that was intermittent.Good: Easy setup. Took less than a minute. My opener motor had a purple button which made it easy. Worked immediately and has a far better range than the original. Not so good: the metal clip for attaching to the sun visor is a cheap thin metal, which is no big deal, but the edges were very sharp. To avoid slicing the sun visor, I had to lightly sand the metal edges. Easy enough fix.Caution: This was so easy to set up, it makes me cautious about leaving my garage open while unattended. Someone with this opener could enter my open garage and program their opener and be gone in less than 30 seconds. That would give them easy access to my garage at a later time.

Excellent Replacement (PURPLE Learn Button)
I just bought a house and had a lot of work done to the garage just so I could park my vehicle in the garage. Alas, the previous owner did not leave a garage door opener remote. After doing a little research, found these for a good price and they fit the bill exactly. Programmed it in about 5 seconds (which included climbing up the ladder to reach the learn button). Hit the PURPLE learn button on the garage door opening, hit the button on the remote and PRESTO! Glad I didn't spend an extra $15 for the name brand remote (which was just for 1 remote) -- at least now I have a spare. I did have to "secure" the battery (which is included) a bit, but a bit of felt or paper did that trick so I couldn't even take off a star for that.

Garage Remote Programmed in Seconds!
Refoss Garage Door Remote 2 pack took just a few seconds to program! Comes with batteries. Use a ladder to reach your garage opener. Look for the purple button (says only works with purple button). You might have to remove the cover, I did not. Have your remotes with you. Push the PURPLE button, release it, then point your first remote at purple button, push the remote button until the light by purple button flashes. Release. Test remote on garage door. Repeat for second remote. That's it! AH-mazing! My garage opener had other directions on it that did not work. Will update for quality at a later date. Impressed already.

Affordable replacement for a lost Chamberlain garage remote with a purple learning button
This is for the purple learning button only. It will not work on other colors. This product was easy to pair and was super affordable. So glad I bought it vs. the cost of buying an OEM model. It works great.

Works great! But, cheaply made.
Remote does what it needs to do. It has worked flawlessly, and the range is much longer than my original LiftMaster clicker. Price was great. I feel this is a worthwhile remote for the $8-10 range. However, it feels cheap. I am always worried that it is going to get crushed or the button is going to pop out of place. It hasn’t fallen apart yet, just waiting for the day. The actual button is very confusing. I’m never 100% sure if I’m supposed to press the clicker side or the battery compartment side. Wish that battery compartment was on the backside like my original clicker.

Touchy buttons
Good product at a good price but the buttons are so touchy they trigger the door at the slightest touch. I had them in a drawer and closed the drawer opened the garage door.

Works great and great value
Both garage door remotes were easy to activate and installation was as simple as pressing the learn button and then the remote control button. Range is over a block away. The value for two remotes is great. Rey pleased.

Like magic
I had a severe lack of range with my old remotes and these solved it. I had purchased others brand new, replaced batteries and even extended the antenna. None of it helped. These remotes send a stronger signal and solved the problem 100% instantly.
