This is my favorite of Mike's series
As far as the mechanical stuff goes, it's still the case that if you've been reading Mike's columns you'll have seen most of this before, but it's still worth having it all in one place. What makes this a bit different is that in the second half (or at least the last third) of the book, Mike takes off his A&P/IA hat and puts on his pilot/CFII/ME hat and gives a lot of great advice on various aspects of flying, including dealing with the FAA. Much of this part focuses on flying twins, and the only thing I'd like to see is more ink devoted to flying singles. But it's a great book just the same.

I'm a Fan
Mike Busch has done it again. He is a great author and extremely knowledgeable on practically everything General Aviation. As an airplane owner and fan of Mike, I've been anxious to get this Volume 2. He does a fabulous job in bringing his knowledge to an understandable level while still getting the technical "stuff" conveyed to his audience, the general aviation enthusiast. Along with Volume 1, this book lays out a wealth of information in a very concise and extremely organized manner that is intuitive to follow. It can be easily used as reference for individual concepts just as well as being a good read front to back.

Excellent!
I am a pilot, not a mechanic. I read everything Mike Busch writes. He is clear and complete. I wish this information would have been available 45 years ago when I was first learning to operate piston aircraft engines. I now have 24,000 flight hours and have flown over 100 types from J3 to DC3. I have owned 3 aircraft, but even if you just fly and don't own, you need these books! I learn something every time I pick up one of his books.

Be a more informed aircraft owner
This book may not turn you into an A&P, but it sure will make you more informed about your airplane, its maintenance and its behavior. I read all of Mike's four books cover to cover and learned a lot. In addition to being educational, they were surprisingly easy reads. Well done.

Excellent for owners and potential owners.
Excellent book. Have read all his other three books pertaining to maintenance and ownership. He has a knack for presenting information in an entertaining and very readable way. If you own or think of owning a light aircraft especially in the United States this is must read. Highly recommend reading all the others too.

Lots of Good Information
I've been an aircraft owner for a little over a year. Mike's books are giving me the confidence to start doing some of the work on my own plane. There is a wealth of information here!

I wish I knew all of this 5 yrs ago. Read it NOW!
Mike's writing is just like his podasts. Easy to read, and very conversational. Like talking with the old guy (sorry Mike) at your hangar who's seen it all. I plan to listen again when the audio book is released.
