ZJG - Katana Anime Sword Sakata Gintoki Sword - Wooden Version

I actually really like this training sword a lot it is very durable and hasn't broken on me yet when I hit my punching bag. It is a good length and size the color is as shown and the feel is glossy but not to the point that it is hard to hold. The engravings are also well done and look nice. Overall a good purchase.

The wood is a much darker, almost red color & the Lake Toya inscription is not nearly as prominent as shown... will probably trace it over with black sharpie or paint. They did not wrap it in bubble wrap or any sort of protection for shipping, just threw it in an oversized box, so there's some scuffs & scratches. Feels decently sturdy but overall the product is NOT as shown & not worth the price in my opinion.

This is a very well crafted training sword aside from the Gintama theme. The "Lake Toya" kanji is carved into the side as opposed to painting which is far better in my opinion. It has quite a bit of weight to it, unlike a shinai. Great for any Gintama fan or cosplayer

The tip of this was bend and broken and it would've made Gin-san very sad indeed. But I think it's more on the shopping company and not the manufacturer.

Very, very good quality! It is definitely solid wood and has a good, hefty weight to it; the kanji are exactly right and beautifully stylized! Couldn't have asked for anything better :D

The bokuto is supercool and its good for its money. This is great for cosplayers or people who just want a bokken. It has a little problems tho which i think is the shippings fault. There are some small scratches abd the tip of my bokken was a little bent. Also my kanji on the handle came unpainted which is fine with me cause i can paint it myself. Its still a very good bokken. I recomend it to any gintama fans or any one who wants a bokken. Its pretty good for it's price too.

Mine came in a different color than what was shown and the engraving wasn't in black either. Its sturdy, I'll give it that

Received the item today. Was very excited as the quality, build and workmanship was actually pretty good. It is fairly heavy, which is good. However, I rated it lower due to the fact that it has some scratches that became visible only after removing the plastic wrap. My guess is that it was a returned item and already been used. May have to return this, which is a bummer.
