Not sure if we've got a hedgehog living in ours yet but it certainly appears to be ideal for the job. Only downside is it's totally untreated wood as far as I can tell, so I had to varnish the outside before use. Looks great and I expect will make a perfect home for a hedgehog!

My hedgehog home seems to be holding up to the latest battering the weather has thrown at it, and hasn't floated away.It is well built, and has a floor, not something others offer. This is a home any hog should be proud of, something to show the neighbours. I hope. Does my wondering hedgehog think it is?So, it is well made and has a windproof inner barrier, a very good feature. It is weatherproof with a domed clinker style roof, and a back door that allows easy access, but not for foxy. Unless it can open the catch. This is not a lunch box.Would I recommend it? Yes, this is a good buy.

Sadly not robust. Fell apart quite quickly, and not weatherproof. Shame as looked beautiful when it arrived 😔

The only issue I have is that a cat can get in and eat the food. I didn't think it was possible but I have it on camera. Our hedgehog climbs over the barrier but the cat seems able to twist round it so we founf we were feeding a cat not the hedgehog.

Best purchase I’ve made in a really long time! We really wanted to attract a hedgehog to the garden so started laying out food every night after setting up the house. We now have this little guy who seems to have moved in and loves to make an appearance in the late evening!The door seems small but he has no trouble and it’s nice to know he’s safe from predators.
