marvelous. A parent's review.
I like this even better than George Selden's "The Cricket in Times Square." This is a much shorter book, but Chester Cricket gets out of the subway and goes to see New York City! He gets to the Planetarium and the Museum of Natural History, he goes to Central Park and the Empire State Building, he crosses Broadway and flies to the Statue of Liberty. If you're going to New York City, get this book for your kids. It's fun.

Cricket learns to fly!
We love Lulu and was glad she was part of the story. The ink drawings were beautiful. Not a chapter book but a nice short story. Little scary in one part. Good for ages 5-12

Short & a lot of pictures & Kindle does not support this book you must use PC or APP.
My kid enjoyed reading the book. Definitely shorter than other books in the series. Biggest gripe is I bought it for the kindle and found out this book was not supported on the kindle. My kid had to read it off the tablet.

Chester Cricket's Pigeon Ride
Haven't read the book yet, bought it for me and my friend to read together, so can't rate it as yet, but I'm sure we'll enjoy it, as we've enjoyed all the books with Chester Cricket that we've read thus far. The delivery of the book was very timely. So, I rated it 4 stars, just figuring it would be at least that good

Love the other books, this one...not so much
Compared to the other books in the series, this one seemed like an afterthought.

Great Pics
The plot is a little thin compared to the richness of The Cricket in Times Square. But the pictures are great, and worth the price alone.
