Levi'sMen's Washed Cotton Hooded Military Jacket

I bought this for my boyfriend thinking it was more of a hoodie weight but it’s a nice coat. It’s stylish, high quality, and very rugged looking-he looks amazing in it! The XLT fit his tall, muscular frame well

This is a really great jacket. It's comfortable, looks great, has plenty of pockets (two to shove your hands into, two on the chest, two that are under flaps on top of the hand pockets, and one interior pocket), the hood is voluminous, and does a great job keeping the wind out. The interior pocket could stand to be a little bigger but not a real issue, my Samsung S7 Active with extra chunky case fits just nicely but i don't think i could shove my Kindle in there. The removable hood comes off with a zipper if you dont want the hoodie look. You could wear the hood separately if you wanted to look funny. I looked at all the Levis jackets offered on Amazon and i went with this one and i do not regret my choice. Great price too.Only one issue i ran into, when putting it on, make sure you do the thing where you throat your second arm in the air when you pull it over the shoulders, i heard a stitch pop when i tried to jerk my arm in the sleeve. But that's more about body mechanics and the nature of a heavy canvas being sewn into a wearable form. It's not a sweatshirt, so you know, no stretching.

O.M.G I love this jacket. I was super lucky to have found this at not only an incredible price of $38 but in my size of 3XL and to have it fit perfectly. More often than not these styles of jackets run on the shorter side for guys of my height at 6ft but this one is perfect. My Dad even ordered one the minute I showed it to him and it was at that time I discovered that the hood was removable by unzipping it, Cool! Only thing I wish I would have ordered 2 or 3 more in other colors for this price but stupid property taxes made it a difficult month. I included a picture of it next to one of my old ones in an XL - American Eagle - just for comparison sake. And it's totally warm and practical for Michigan winter weather all while looking super dope! Heck yeah Levi's!

Do not regret making this purchase. Awesome winter jacket! Highly recommend it.

I am 5’10” 188 lbs athletic / muscular build and I chose a medium based on suggestions; I’m happy to report this fits me well and is surprisingly warm. I like the overall look and style as it’s not too casual or formal so it looks good in most situations. My only minor issues are the main side pockets and the shoulder accents. The pockets have a wide band of material on the outer edge that isn’t sewn on the front edge but rather toward the pocket edge so there is essentially a flap of material that I keep getting my hands caught on while trying to get into the pockets. I just have to remember to reach back further to avoid this. As far as the shoulder flap accents, they are attached with snaps that fairly easily pull off the snap if you catch them on something (book bag strap etc). Overall I’m pleased and quality / construction seems great so far.

I love the look of this jacket, I love the feel of this jacket, I really just love this jacket. You can find the same product at Macys or Kohls but be prepared to spend almost double on it. If you worried about which size will fit you my advice is to try the coat on in a retail store to find out if you like the fit and what size you might want. Buy it on amazon. The fit is pretty much as expected. The coat runs a bit short, i.e. it probably won't sit below your belt much but that's just kind of in the design. I give it a full five for being a gold ole American staple with consistent quality.

I got this to make my own waxed jacket for colder weather that will repel water well. The commercial ones range from $150 for very light weight ones to $400+ for heavier duty ones. I like the Levi brand and have had good luck with their construction quality in pants before, and their design looks great to me with the Sherpa lining and detachable hood.I’m 6’1” 275 lbs with longer arms & torso that usual for my height. Fit is an issue for me with sleeves coming up short unless I oversized and drown in coats or jackets. The xxl tall option online fits perfectly for an overcoat in high 20’s to low 40’s weather with normal layers underneath. It is too warm for me in the high 40’s or above.The zipper quality feels good for the jacket and the removeable hood inserts. The hood insert is the same gauge zipper as the jacket, but the attachment zipper side is different. You won’t be able to zip on some other shell lining or fleece into that as I thought I could from stock photos.I applied wax and melted it in with a heat gun. Anything but pure cotton canvas could melt or burn from that, so I was worried about the polyester lining. It all came out very well in my opinion, and the canvas held up to the rough and strenuous waxing process on all the seams. None of the liner got stuck to the shell, and nothing melted.The buttons on the wrist adjustment and pockets don’t have much holding power, so it’s easy to unbutton your wrist cuff against things. That’s better than it getting hung up on things and ripping though I guess.The had warmer pockets so have a good lining, but I’m indifferent to the pho button pocket detailing. It doesn’t hurt anything, but I could do without it. The hand pockets are pretty deep for gloves, keys, or a phone. Be careful with phones in those pockets while sitting especially like in a car slightly tilted backwards. My phone falls out there easily but never while I’m walking around. The breast pockets are good for that with a reasonable sized phone & case though.I really like the brown color both when new and after taking some darker colors from the wax. I’ve already bought another Levi model trucker style jacket in the black color too.I would recommend and have already bought a few of these to wax as Christmas presents for my dad and older brother.

It’s super thick, very comfy and honestly it keeps me really warm. I love it.

Purchased this coat to replace a very aged Old Navy version. PROS: Inside pocket size is great, and the removable hood is a plus. Coat fits well, and the insulation in the chest section will be nice in cooler weather. CONS: The zipper connection was frayed and loose on both sides at the bottom and almost came apart just by unzipping it (the jacket came zipped-up). The size is weird. I picked a XXL-Tall since I'm 6'3" and wanted to be able to wear a sweater underneath if necessary. This fits like a 3-XL despite the measurements listed on the site. I'll be sending it back to due to the zipper problems, but may buy a smaller size.

I am pleased with this purchase. No defects upon delivery. Jacket is soft, comfortable and durable. Came in a box with padding to protect and was secure the jacket during delivery.

Great quality, it feels heavy for summer, I would use it for something like fall or early winter. The color was supposed to be blue, but in fact is very dark, almost black. I am definitely planning to her another one
