Mallory Vs. Max Paperback – January 1, 2006

I really like this book because it’s about how a family is getting more than one pet. I can relate to this because it’s hard tot take care of both of them.

My 5 year old and I read these together - and my 9 year old can't help listening in. The stories are so engaging and the kids are so realistic. This book shows once again the innocently selfish thought process of the elementary student brain. We are able to talk about Mallory's mistakes and feelings and laugh at the situations she gets herself into. Highly recommend

I purchased a few of the Mallory series for a student who ordinarily expresses no interest in reading. She loves these books. I realize educators must adhere to the curriculum, but I do think children should be asked what they like to read, and if the subject matter is appropriate, their interests should be integrated into the curriculum.

Enjoying the book with a 3rd grade student. She is reading the actual text while I follow along on the kindle app.

My daughter is in third grade and this is her favorite series right now....
