After seeing the padded headbands on the Prada runway (and on the royals), I really, really wanted this style of headband. Part retro 90's and part high fashion, it kind of mimics a crown while being casual and subdued. I felt like this was a little bit of a gamble as there are not many padded head bands on amazon that have many reviews but these are really hard to find in any stores. I am reviewing so that others can see what the headband is like! The quality control must have gone up on these handmade headbands as mine was padded evenly and came in a protective case. The band is small enough that I think it would fit a lot of smaller heads and flexible enough to fit a larger head. The velvet is nice and not crushed. Very soft on your head. Seams are even and there is no hard spots or exposed glue. The wine red color I got is not garish though if you want it to stand out even more against your hair you might want a brighter color. The height of the padding is just right. I didn't want anything over the top but I wanted to padded to be substantial enough to give the correct "halo" look. Obviously not exactly the same as the Prada and made of less luxurious material but a great value and gives the desired look!! Thank you so much!!

I love this headband! The green color is so rich, it is perfect! I was surprised by how good the quality is too. My only complaint is that the headband doesn't stay on my head securely, it slides back easily. I have a small head and thin hair so I think that may contribute to the issue. I definitely recommend this headband and it doesn't hurt behind the ears like most headbands.

I used this for my Halloween costume. I added some gold rope with a hot glue gun to make it look like a lady in waiting’s head piece. It worked out week for me.

The product is beautiful and durable and very soft i couldn’t spot any blemishes on the velvet. It’s holding down my thick hair too and also they gave me 3 head bands i wasn’t expecting and they were just a great. Good buy for the price, will buy again. ♥️

I got the yellow and the color is as advertised. Very vibrant, and comfortable, doesn’t hurt after wearing for long hours. The only issue is that the band is uneven, so one side looks thicker than the other.
