I learned the hard way that even though it's rated at 50 spf, you will burn! I used it while snorkeling in Hawaii and got a wicked burn on my back. USE SUNSCREEN in addition. It's not like wearing a Tshirt. It will still let 2% of the sun rays through, according to an internet article. Yes, I was stupid.

I'm a Large but these fit me perfectly in Medium - not tight at all. (I'm 6'1" - 210 lbs) Really glad I listened to the reviews and sized down.The hoodies are soft, comfortable, long sleeves (great for me; my arms are long for a Large, and these hit at my wrist or a little beyond). I will wear them in the summer for UV protection and in the colder/wetter months when running outdoors. So soft and loose you could also use for lounging / pajamas.Liked it enough to buy several in different colors.Docking one star because of the ridiculous sleeve lettering (almost a deal-breaker!). I worry that the lettering will peel off or warp over time (as happens with most of my other Columbia synthetic shirts, making them look like garbage). I only wear Columbia clothing when camping / exercising / at the beach, where I don't really care about looking smart.

This thing is EXCELLENT for summer heat. I wear the White, Red or Black and all of them are actually cooler than a cotton T.I am an active 6'1' 330 lb former college linebacker. I wear 44 inch pants and 3 or 4 xl (tall) shirts. I bought this as 4x and worried that it would be too short. It is not.Worn with a compression T underneath I can go into 100 degree weather and be cooler than when in a coaching t shirt. I am in Sacramento, CA where summer temps regularly exceed this. I play pickleball and do other outside activities in full sun with these and I am cool as the other side of the pillow.If you are large and have problems with your belly getting into everything and staining, DO NOT order the white. Unless you plan to tie-dye it!

this is my third time ordering this shirt, and not because they tear or anything, they just seem to be all I want to wear. lounging around the house? super comfortable. I'm going hiking? super breathable and sun protection. just going out for a drive? it looks nice, feels nice, and I can put the hood up. hell, you can even sleep wearing it. I love them. will be ordering more

I like my sun hoodie for its fit and UV protection, but it can get pretty warm while wearing it. Unlike most tech fabrics, this sun hoodie tends to trap heat a bit so you warm up while wearing it, which is annoying on hot days. I wore it on a few 7-10 mile hikes in the Australian Outback and the heat wore me out, but at least I never got sunburned! It does moisture wick and dry quickly at least. The hood is serviceable, but it slides off your head pretty easily with a light gust of wind. I wish there wasn't such massive COLUMBIA PFG on the left sleeve; it looks tacky.After about 5 weeks of wearing and a few washes, it's holding up well. I'm 5'8" and fit/buff, and size S/P fits me just fine.

I recently was diagnosed with precancerous spots on my arms and face. After getting them gone using the meds and nitrogen at my dermatologists I don’t want to repeat that if possible. These shirts are a big help. I have the blue and a white one. Both work great keeping the sun off of me without dying of heat stroke even in 105 degree Kansas weather! I wear the white one in those cases thought because the blue does get warmer. What is amazing is that you actually feel COOLER in the sun with these on than without them. It has something to do with wicking the perspiration which makes the air against your skin cooler.I still put on sunscreen on my face and hands but these made a huge difference. I have been camping for 25 days and just have a light tan.

Bought 2 of these for my husband. High quality which I expected from the brand. He normally wears a large so I bought large. Happy with the way it fits. He has broad shoulders and muscular arms. Plenty of room. Not clingy!White is white (not off white) so it looks clean. Not see through.My husband loves true blue colors. Thought I’d take a chance and order the color * Dolphin. He likes it and looks incredibly handsome in it.I like that the PFG hoodie because it offers more protection for his fair skin.They wash well. I don’t put them in the dryer.Note: Best to wear if there is a breeze. He does get hot when he wears one on a muggy day.

I love this material! Ever since it came out 95% of all of my shirts, from work to T's to nice Polo/golf shirts are all made from this same material. Particularly one pro about this shirt is it's like a fishing shirt, where u can wear this to stay warm in colder temps and also wear it to stay cool in the Hot sun. Best way to describe it, is It's like being in the shade, cuz it blocks the sun from hitting your skin and making it hot/burned whatever. And since it's so breathable being made from that dri-fit self wicking material it doesn't stick to your skin when you're sweating, then dries extremely fast. All that put together with the color, the hood, the print and the PFG decal on the back makes it a bad ass shirt. I've literally got 4 of their hats and now 2 of these shirts. I had to order 2 of the same color cuz I like it so much n don't know how long they'll be around for hahaha

Y también he leído comentarios de gente opinando sobre el tamaño excesivo de esta camisa.Mi recomendación es: si ya has comprado Columbia, sigue escogiendo tu talla en camisas. Si de por sí pides mediana pide esta en mediana.Si no has comprado, te advierto que la marca Columbia, al menos en el área de camisas, debes escoger una talla menor ya que son amplias.Si de plano la quieres justa (justa no significa apretada) pide dos tallas menor.Yo pedí dos tallas menor pero al comprar otra de una talla menor descubrí que prefería seguir usando mis medidas.Esta camisa esta respaldada su protección UV por la organización Skin Cancer, que garantiza que ciertos productos (como este) en verdad protegen de los rayos Uv para prevenir el cáncer.Los cánceres que mas se dan en el mundo son causados por el acohol, cigarros y por rayos solares (cancer de piel), entre otros.

Great shirt for mowing lawns and landscaping! I found this shirt did a great job protecting me from the sun and keeping me from burning. Did pile a bit after a few washings, but for the price paid and considering it was for work I'm not going to complain! Fit great, slightly loose / baggy. Was glad to find there was plenty of length in the arms. I find most long sleeves are so short that everytime I move the cuffs ride up.

Amazing product. It is super cool but covers you completely if you are prone to sunburns. The thing actually comes with a UPF 50 sun protection rating on it lol. Also, I love that it comes with a Large/Tall option. I have a long upper body and simian arms so this actually fits me quite well. No problems with it being too short in the body or arms which is a common thing for me when I buy tee shirts.It also seems to be of decent quality. Just don't rub up against any brick walls because it will for sure catch and mess it up.

PFG hoodie is very comfortable, fits well and is cool on those hot summer days. It runs big. I usually wear XL, and I had to go down to large. It wicks the sweat of your body, and dries quickly. I highly recommend this Hoodie.
