Great style, with .5 size up!
99% of the time I'm a size 9..I read through the reviews and wasn't sure if I should size up or not. The only shoes I ever did that for was my Nike free run 5 where I ended up getting a size 10. So being a prime member, love the free returns, I bought 9 & 9.5.I'll be going with the 9.5. I feel the slightest amount of pressure, and my big toe against the top of the boot in the size 9. I think that extra bit of room will make it better for the week long camping we'll be doing in Iceland. And Yes the shoe is very stylish in person!! Will update my other review once my trip is taken (may 2017) to update on the performance.Updated after trip:: Amazing pair of boots. No time needed to break in. However sometimes it does rub against one of my ankles...definitely wear high socks. Overall still very happy with the quality, style, and price, especially as I am only a moderate hiker. I’d purchase again.

Search No More!!!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I don’t just go around on Amazon giving out 5 star reviews all willy nilly! But I just wanted to let someone who’s looking for a pair of comfy, cute hiking boots know that these are the the ones you want sis!I usually wear a 10 but I read the reviews and decided to go up a half size. They fit great. Very comfortable. These shoes are completely water proof, except of course if the shoe is submerged and the water enters from the opening for your foot to goes in. Other than that, feet stay completely dry. it’s like magic! They do get a little dirty however- I haven’t cleaned them yet but if you watch the video, you can see a spot of dirt on the left toe that was already there before I dipped my foot in the water.

Order 1/2 size larger
I ordered a half size larger than my typical 9.5. The width of the shoe was fine for my feet. They are a tiny bit snug but, after I really break them in they should fit like a glove. I have the blue pair and the top of the boots are closer to a "hunter's orange" meets peach than the baby peach color that is shown. The blue/leather part of the shoe is pretty accurate. It is like a cobalt blue. The leather is suede like but, even though it feels super soft on the outside, it is supportive. I am about to put 17 miles on these shoes this weekend and I will update my review after the impending hike!**Update**Okay my final review...I LOVE THESE BOOTS!!!! They kept my feet dry (lots of rain in the mountains this past weekend), and the boots quickly dried as well. I just left them outside of my tent and they would be dry. Let me clarify here, the boots were never drenched i.e. dumped in a river and hung out to dry kind of wet, just the normal splashing through puddles etc. These boots also clean up nicely, I used wet ones and a microfiber cloth and viola, clean! My feet were never sore wearing these boots but, it still felt great taking off the boots after a long day of hiking. They kept my feet warm but not in the sense fur-lined boots would keep your feet warm. When I would take off my boots and socks at the end of the day my socks would be a little "damp". Also no sweaty foot smell either. The tread pattern on these boots handled rocks, mud, roots and steep climbs with ease, never once did I feel like my footing was going to slip.

Incredible! no breaking in period!
These shoes are phenomenal. I bought my normal size and they're great. The lacing holds tight so if I wear light socks, my foot doesn't shift. However, there's plenty of room to wear wool or fluffier socks. For me they DID NOT NEED BREAKING IN. This is huge. I hate buying any kind of shoe that has a "breaking in period". These were great from the get go.I tried them on a moderate 5 mile hike on a rugged Washington (state) trail. No blisters. I put them to the test today (5/27/2018) on an 8 mile hike up a steep incline and holy cow. They were amazing.Pictures are on this hike when we hit snow and kept going! I would advise that if you do a lot of hiking where debris (heavy rock/snow/dirt trails) is bound to get into your shoe to look into gator covers. The one con is that the mouth of the shoe is wide, so SOMETIMES stuff gets in. Mainly snow, but that was more due to the fact that I kept sinking in. Otherwise, a nice gator cover would take these to 110%.Highly recommend.

Great for beginner to moderate hikers
Love these shoes! As far as style: I get complimented on them all the time. I have used them for probably 8 moderate hikes so far and they have done great. Only time I got uncomfortable was when I did three hikes in one day, and I can blame that on myself. I honestly cannot see any wear on them at all yet, other than splashes of mud.The only reason I deducted one star is because no matter how tight I tie the laces all the way to the top, the tongue makes it's way forward and sticks out, allowing whatever crap gets kicked up to fall in there. Usually not a huge problem, but I would prefer that not to happen.Overall, a great shoe for a beginner to moderate hiker such as myself!

I have had these just over a month and.....
When I first got these boots, I was very pleased with them. They were comfortable and they kept my feet dry as I walked through our farm pastures in wet grass. I've had them a little over a month and I noticed this morning that one foot was starting to feel wet near my toes by the time I had finished doing chores. When I got inside, I took off the boots and sure enough, my sock was wet. I felt inside the boot up near the toe and could feel a hole on the inside waterproof liner. A waterproof liner should be sturdy enough to last for more than a month. If you need boots that will keep your feet dry, don't get these.

LOVE
I have nothing but good things to say about these boots. I bought 6 different boots online from various stores and different brands and tried them all on at home. These fit the best, looked the best, and seemed the comfiest. I took them on a 10 day trip to Iceland and they were perfect! No need to break them in - super comfortable, they looked so cute, they were light enough that I didn’t feel clunky, and they held up well. Also very waterproof! The only thing is, I’m not sure how breathable they are, because after a long day of wearing them, my feet did feel very warm and a little smelly, but nothing a quick foot spray into the boot didn’t fix. There were no lingering odours the next day.

Not a hiking boot
I purchased these with hopes that they would be a decent hiking boot. Off the start, they are not comfortable as they do not support arches. In the field, they are clunky, lack ankle support, are as water resistant as a sponge, however, their ability to hold water within them is exceptional. One submerged foot in muskeg and I had to walk with sloshing in my boot for the day. The result: swamp foot. Would only recommend if you define hiking as walking along a mildly inclined paved pathway.

SUPER CUTE! ... but not a walking shoe
I bought these with the hope they'd make a good city 5-15 km winter walking shoe, but (for me) they lack structure to support and hold my foot in place even with my custom orthotic insoles. My toes flop around a bit and my foot tends to gravitate forward causing my toes to hit the end of the shoe. I'd guess they'd be suitable to maybe -10 C with a warm wool blend sock. They're very comfy and they'll be great for short walks like from my car to a shop, but they don't compare to the structure and support of: The North Face, Merrell, Zamberlan's, etc.. They look like a winter hiking boot, but in actuality, they're a glorified slipper.

I'm in Windsor, Nova Scotia and I approve!
The reviews are right. Best hiking boots ever!!!! I have, for many years, worn Keens but I'm glad I made a change because it has been an excellant change. Put on and go...no discomfort. Put in two hikes...and not a problem with foot pain, blisters or discomfort. Roomy toe cap, strong ankle support and very light yet durable. Made it through mud and snow and ice patches brilliantly.Never mind I purchased these boots for over $100.00 less than I would normally paid for Keens...🙄🤔😏😊

Comfort right out of the box
I usually wear an 8 and bought an 8.5. Fit was perfect. Incredibly comfortable. Worn out of the box straight into a 25km 9 hour hike and they were fantastic. Crossed streams and puddles and my feet stayed dry! Def recommend!
