And not much else. Certainly not many of the features promised during development. And certainly the appearance, nay, the idea of the game was a much better experience than the game itself. That's why featuring a Fer-de-Lance from Elite: Dangerous was such a brilliant move. That's what the No Man's Sky backers hoped they would get. Indeed, that's what No Man's Sky wishes that it was.But it gets deeper than that. The front and back covers are symbolic of the No Man's Sky journey itself. It begins with such hope, such dreams of immersion and depth.It ends with playing Elite: Dangerous.5/5, would deconstruct again.

If your really a beginner, this book is great! All the bad reviews almost scared me off, but they must have already known how to play, just looking for maybe advanced help, idk. I'm old, and am only playing games again, because of VR. I love it. I was so lost at the start of this game, I had stopped playing. Didn't get anywhere. Didn't know how. After reading part of the book, I was able to start over, repair my ship, and fly off to explore another planet. Now the game is everything I had hoped it would be.

Book did not claim to be good or bad. It simply claimed. Book is book.The copyright page contains a typo. "This book is book is available..."This is a book of screenshots and not much else. Screenshots take up 3/4 of a two page spread, and there are maybe two or three paragraphs for every two pages. Might be a good pick for children interested in the game and learning how to read. Or for those that love the game so much they want a picture book to add to the shelf.

Limitless Sky was perfect for my needs. I was curious about No Man's Sky yet unwilling to sacrifice precious leisure time trying it out. For me this book was an easy and enjoyable way to find out exactly what the game is (and is not) and gave me a clear feel for what it's like to play from the beginning. This answered all the questions I had about No Man's Sky and will be a welcome companion when I someday find more free time and start the game.Also, the opening section about the history of Hello Games and the origins of No Man's Sky was fascinating and made me want to read more books about those kinds of stories.

Not a bad guide, but not as good as I hoped. Too many full 2 page images, not enough guide...

This book has a lot of color and is very useful for a beginner. If you played the game for any amount of time this book might be a little elementary for you ! But all in all nicely done .

The only literature I could find for no man's sky on PS4. Not a game guide.

I bought this book in 2017. A lot of stars have passed by since then and the book is way way out of date and is handy only for a basic guide. There has been a lot of updates and so much in this book can only lead to frustration. Choice is yours!

Actually just a very poor introduction to the game all of which you could find out in the first couple of hours of play. Lazy and spread as thin as possible with massive overly repetitive screenshots and huge text. A waste of paper. Save your money, you will find out 1000 times more online for free. I wanted a guide to hand while playing for quick reference for manufacturing and refining. It is utterly useless and a waste of money.
